On October 20th, 2009, Zhou Zhenhong, Member of Guangdong Provincial CCP Standing Committee, arrived at Kaohsing Airport, Taiwan with his delegation. Falun Gong practitioners held a protest and exposed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution of Falun Gong.

When Zhou was the CCP Secretary of the Maoming City CCP Committee (2002 to 2007), he directed efforts to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in the city and incited hatred towards Falun Gong. During this period, at least 6 practitioners were tortured to death and many were sent to labour camps and prisons. Many practitioners were sent to brainwashing sessions and tortured with injections of toxic drugs.

On August 1st, 2002, Zhou publicly opposed Falun Gong in the eleventh plenary of the Seventh Miaoming City Committee. On August 28th, 2002, he defamed Falun Gong at a large religious meeting.

At 10 a.m. on October 20th, during the delegation's visit, practitioners in Pingdong held banners that read "Falun Dafa, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance" and protested the CCP's persecution. They hoped the delegate members will learn the facts about Falun Gong.

Police on site praised the practitioners for their peaceful and orderly protest. A local host for the delegation said to the practitioners after the visitors had left, "You did very well!"

Practitioner Mr. Chen Gui-lin, in his 60s, said, "We do not oppose the visits of Chinese mainlanders. We hope that they can learn about Falun Gong and see that Falun Gong is practised freely outside of China."

The delegation will stay for 12 days in Taiwan and return to China on November 1st.
