Using Our Divine Side to Save More Sentient Beings

Recently, through Fa-study I realized that we Dafa practitioners are following Teacher's words to do the three things well. However, the number of sentient beings that need to be saved is huge. We have to further cultivate our divine side to have more and more impact. Only by having divine compassion and divine ability can we save more sentient beings within a limited time.

There are many ways for us to save sentient beings, including distributing fliers; clarifying the truth face-to-face, over the phone, over or Internet; as well as promoting the Divine Performance Arts (DPA) shows. Still, many practitioners have this question: Why is it so difficult to encourage people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations? My understanding is that if we are only doing this like an everyday person, it will be limited just to the level of qi, and it will be hard to achieve the desired effect. So why are some practitioners able to encourage thousands and even tens of thousands of people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations? These practitioners often don’t need to say very much, with just several sentences being effective. I believe these practitioners are already using their divine side when doing things. Their words carry strong, compassionate and righteous energy, which immediately disintegrates any bad elements around other people. Of course, it is not easy to achieve this and it is a manifestation of one's cultivation status.

Through Fa-study, we know Teacher talks about the difference between Chinese and Western medicine in regards to pulling teeth. In Chinese medicine, the liquid drug works in other dimensions and a gentle touch will knock out the tooth. In contrast, Western medicine requires specialized instruments and a hammer. A lot of effort is spent on pulling out a tooth; still, the root can be left behind. Similar things are happening as we encourage people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. If we are using the Western medicine approach, it requires a considerable effort and the effects are quite limited. The CCP has poisoned the minds of more than one billion people in China. With our human body alone, how can we save so many people? Therefore, we need to let our divine side to be more effective in other dimensions so that these people can be saved.

Many practitioners have to balance work and life, as well as care for family members, while also doing the three things well. Many practitioners find time very limited and are unable to address all of these things effectively. We know that it is impossible to do all these as an everyday person. An everyday person cannot do things as a god, and a Dafa practitioner has to exceed an everyday person when doing things. In Zhuan Falun, Teacher said, “For a practitioner, one’s mind-intent dictates supernormal abilities to do things. For an everyday person, one’s mind-intent directs the four limbs and the sensory organs to work,...” (Lecture Nine, “Mind-Intent”). If we are limited to doing things just using our four limbs and sensory organs, we are unable to handle things well. If we can address things with supernormal abilities and achieve the status of “Shenshen Heyi” (one of the verses for the exercise, “Buddha Stretching a Thousand Arms,” from The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa), it will be a different scenario. In The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa, Teacher also said, “Shenghui Zengli” (one of the verses for the “Falun Standing Stance”). Dafa enlightens our wisdom and develops our extraordinary abilities. We need to use them to save sentient beings. Of course, we also need to conform maximally to everyday society.

To achieve this, I believe that we cannot limit ourselves. In Essentials for Further Advancement, Teacher said, “As a matter of fact, this results from an inadequate understanding of the Fa by your human side. You have humanly restrained your divine side; in other words, you have restrained the parts that have been successfully cultivated and have prevented them from doing Fa-rectification” (“Expounding on the Fa”). In the cultivation journey arranged by Teacher, we are walking the path towards being a god. In Zhuan Falun, Teacher said, “This characteristic, Zhen-Shan-Ren, is in the microscopic particles of air, rock, wood, soil, iron and steel, the human body, as well as in all matter. In ancient times it was said that the Five Elements constitute all things and matter in the universe; they also carry this characteristic, Zhen-Shan-Ren” (Lecture One, “Zhen-Shan-Ren is the Sole Criterion to Discern Good and Bad People”). Our life is formed in accordance with the principles of Zhen-Shan-Ren. Believing that one can achieve the status of a god through cultivation is also a test of our faith in Teacher and Dafa.

The more we are assimilated to Zhen-Shan-Ren, the greater the power of Dafa will be upon us. Therefore, we will have more abilities and energy, as well as being more effective in saving sentient beings. When our every single word, action, and thought is assimilated to Zhen-Shan-Ren, I believe that it is what Teacher stated as “the re-manifestation of the great and immense Buddha Law” (Essentials for Further Advancement).

Only by the power of Dafa can we save more sentient beings. Let us do even better!
