An Experience With Photographing Auras

When I was in Thailand, I was helping with a Falun Dafa stall in a festival in Bangkok. This festival followed the theme of “the supernatural”. All kinds of groups were there, from qigong to alien encounters and UFOs to herbal treatments.

One stall was using an electromagnetic camera to capture the human “aura” in a photograph. The photo would show the person surrounded by different colours, which were meant to suggest different things about their personality.

One man in his early twenties who had been practicing Falun Dafa for a few months was curious and decided to get his aura photographed. As it turned out, his aura was unlike anything the man running the stall had ever seen before. The colours were incredibly bright, and there were a number of bright clusters of yellow matter, the most notable being a circular shaped bright yellow mass in the area of the practitioner’s lower abdomen.

In Zhuan Falun, Master Li Hongzhi says: “The material elements in gong (cultivation energy) can be detected by many present-day apparatus.” He also says: “Under the special effect of a magnetic field, a qigong master can emit a powerful and very beautiful aura. The greater one’s gong (cultivation energy) potency, the larger the generated energy field.”

What is particularly interesting about this example is how the photo demonstrated the material existence of a “falun” or law-wheel, which is cultivated by practitioners of Falun Gong in the dantian (lower-abdomen area).

The man who ran the stall was so taken by this practitioner’s energy that he actually bowed to him. Perhaps here in Australia we are more sceptical, but can we deny these manifestations when they are detected by our modern scientific apparatus? Many case studies of Falun Dafa practitioners have been done, such as research by Lili Feng PhD, demonstrating the heightened immunological capabilities of the cells of Falun Dafa practitioners. I would invite anyone curious or sceptical to look and see for themselves.
