Bugun Mersin (Turkish Newspaper) Publishes an Article Entitled “What is Falun Gong?”

On June 12th, Bugun Mersin, a local newspaper in Turkey, published an article entitled “Chinese Communist Regime Persecutes Falun Gong and Harvests Organs for Profit”. Based on material provided by the Falun Gong Association Turkey, the half page article gave a relatively detailed account of the brutal persecution, the organ harvesting atrocities and the recent violent assaults against overseas practitioners.

On June 9th, the same newspaper published an article entitled “What is Falun Gong?” Written by a staff reporter of the newspaper, the article was based on interviews of several Falun Gong practitioners and information provided by these practitioners. In this article, the reporter discussed several topics including “What is Falun Gong?” “the principles of truthfulness compassion forbearance”, the five Falun Gong exercises and the spread of Falun Gong around the world.
