Foreign Secretary and do hope this will be of some help."

Patsy Calton MP said in her letter: "Checking through my files I find that I have already written to the Chinese Embassy, to date I have received no response. I have also written to the FCO asking the government to table a motion at the UN, asking the Chinese authorities to give Falun Gong their human rights."

Dr. Stephen J Ladyman MP pledged that, "I will continue to do what I can to raise awareness of issues in respect to Falun Gong."

Jonathan Shaw MP Wrote: "I was concerned to read this information you gave about the plight of the Falun gong and I am grateful to you for bringing this situation to my attention. I note your request for action by MPs and I will try and look into this matter further and urge the FCO
