On the afternoon of April 30th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Rebro, along with some Amnesty International members, set up a display together in the middle of the downtown area of Stortorget, in order to raise awareness about the crimes of persecution of Chinese people by the evil CCP.

Amnesty members

Amnesty member Annie Kardanisen explained to the people who came to know more, that the CCP promised to improve human rights in China in order to compete for the right to host the Olympics. However this matter of persecution is happening on a large scale and people are being persecuted because their thoughts and beliefs are not the same as those of the CCP. Just like the innocent Falun Gong practitioners who have not harmed society and who do not obstruct other people, the CCP continues to unjustifiably persecute them. In China there is still the oppression of Tibet, abuse and torture and the pulling down of buildings and moving of its occupants elsewhere and such acts of persecuting human rights.

After the people understood the truth they one by one gave their signatures and their support

While exposing the CCP’s evil conduct, Amnesty were collecting signatures to appeal for the rescue of Falun Gong practitioner Bu Dong Wei. Bu Dong Wei is a Chinese worker at the America Asia foundation in the Beijing office, and was kidnapped by the CCP in 2006. He has been illegally put in forced labour for two years and six months.

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises in the middle of the square and handed out leaflets and also collected signatures to denounce the CCP’s savage act of live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in prison camps.

After people understood the truth of the matter, they one by one signed the petition to give support.
