Holland: Falun Gong Practitioners Commemorate April 25th and Protest against the CCP's Atrocities

Nine years ago in Mainland China, facing unfair treatment, tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners arrived at the central government compound in Beijing to hold a peaceful appeal and ask the related government departments for fair treatment. After that, a full scale persecution of Falun Gong was launched by the CCP, which has now lasted for nine years.

On April 25th, 2008, the Dutch Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Holland to protest against the nine year long persecution. A policeman on duty there said, "Although the Chinese Ambassador is not willing to see any protest, people in Holland have the freedom of speech and protest."

Practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises to gentle music, presented pictures and other materials to passers-by to introduce the spread of Falun Gong around the world, told people about the cruel persecution of Falun Gong, in particular the atrocity of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP for profit. Passers-by were attracted by the activity and stopped to watch.

A Falun Gong practitioner, Mr. Ben Hu indicated that, "although the Chinese government promised to improve human rights conditions when applying to host the Olympic Games, but it did nothing actually. Contrarily, it is confirmed that, from the beginning of this year, the persecution against Falun Gong has become even more severe. In fact, human rights conditions in China are in reverse."

Mr. Hu also said that, "in the past nine years, we continuously complied with the principle of Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance; we did not and will never use any violence or similar way to express our protest. We are using a peaceful way to stop the persecution."
