Austria: Falun Gong Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong During the European Newspaper Industry's Annual Conference in Vienna

The 2008 European Newspaper Industry annual conference was held in Vienna on April 21st. During the meeting, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to expose the persecution of Falun Gong to the attendees.

There were nearly 500 newspaper chief editors and newspaper office heads attending this annual conference. On the second day, they discussed reporting questions related to China, including how to report issues in China, how to communicate with the Chinese authorities, how to report current issues in Tibet, how to report the political nature of the Olympic Games and athletes' issues during the China Olympic period.

On April 22nd, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners held activities outside the gate of the city hall, which included display boards, distributing leaflets and demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises, to introduce Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong in China to those attending delegates.
