The Chinese New Years Spectacular had its last performance in Frankfurt on February 17th. This was the fifth time the Divine Performing Arts artists performed their action-packed travels into ancient Chinese culture, bringing to the audience renewed traditional values in Germany.

“The dances were so soothing, very beautiful and comforting,” said Mrs. Wong a nurse from Frankfurt after the show. “I was fortunate to get time off at work.” The Indonesian born Chinese lady brought her husband to the Gala.

“I was very taken by the backdrop. It was just like being in heaven, which touched me deeply,” said her husband. “Such backdrops are something very special". He said that he had seen a similar Gala many years ago. He has lived in Germany for thirty years.

His personal feelings about the show were “indescribable, which cannot be imagined by mere words. I even cried during the performance.”

Mrs. Schaaf, a pensioner and former saleslady said, “I loved everything and especially the dances. Everything was so soothing, from the back drop to the colours. Everything was super.” When asked if she had ever seen such a Gala she answered, “No, I have never seen anything like it. This was the first time. It is not quite our culture but it is fantastic. It is something totally different.”
