Christmas is the time when families and friends gather together. As Christmas has just past, on December 29th a group of Northern European Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm. They sat in candle light, protesting against the evil CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

At two o’clock in the afternoon in the cold winter of Northern Europe the rain became increasingly heavy. Most of people who were protesting there did not bring rain gear, but during the rain and wind, there was no sign of fear on their faces. They were sitting in tranquillity, some lit candles and put them in order, some distributed Falun gong leaflets to passers-by. Everybody was in good order and cooperated very well. During the two and half hours at he Chinese Embassy, there was hardly a voice to be heard, things were quietly carrying on without an apparent leader or even a coordinator.

A pretty girl, she was ten years old, all her family came from Arvika. In order to express her wish, she wrote a letter to the Chinese Embassy in sincere and pure language and drew a picture with a lotus flower went to the Embassy with her mum, asking for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong because cultivation of Falun Gong can bring good health.

In the last eight years, the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong has escalated; practitioners globally had various peaceful anti-persecution activities in different places and of course so did the Northern European practitioners. This Christmas activity was only one of many peaceful appeals by Falun Gong practitioners around the world.
