At the start of April, 2002, UK practitioners began a 23-day relay hunger-strike outside the Chinese embassy, taking turns to go without food for two or three days. The purpose is to draw public attention to the recent escalation of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, to demonstrate our unity with and sympathy for our fellow practitionrs in China who suffer to much, and to appeal for an end to the persecution
