December 10th, 2007 was the annual Nobel Prize awards day. The Nobel Prize Dinner Party that takes place annually in the City Hall Stockholm is regarded by the Swedish people as a dinner party at the highest level and has even been broadcast live by TV stations from more than a dozen countries in recent years. There were about 1300 people attending the dinner party, among whom were Royalty, Nobel Prize winners, outstanding scholars and VIPs from government circles, etc.

At six o’clock in the evening, Swedish practitioners came to the front of City Hall. This day each year has become a good opportunity for them to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong among the guests from various circles that come to attend the Nobel Prize dinner.

The candle-light and bonfire shone upon the banners bearing the words “Falun Gong” and “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”, which was exceptionally dazzling in the darkness. Accompanied by the peaceful, traditional-style Chinese music, the practitioners kept demonstrating the Falun Gong movements in the cold wind, which attracted the attention of all the major media present with cameras and that of the guests attending the dinner. People went up one after another shooting pictures, looking at their performance and asking for more information about Falun Gong. Two young Swedish girls wanted to learn Falun Gong at the site and many passersby asked for leaflets one after another.

Regardless of the cold wind, the practitioners told people about the benefits of practising Falun Gong, as well as about the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners committed by the Chinese Communist Party over the past eight years and called on the people of the world to uphold justice and to helpstop the continuation of the persecution.

When the motorcade of the King and Queen of Sweden was passing slowly by the front of the banners bearing the words of “Falun Gong” and “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”, the King smiled and waved greetings at the Falun Gong practitioners.

At the end of the activity, the practitioners said, “We are really happy today. It has been exceptionally meaningful that we have been able to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution among tonight's guests".
