North California Service Center for Quitting CCP Speaker: "The Nine Commentaries Brings Hope for Chinese People"

Ma Youzhi, a representative from the Northern California Service Center for Quitting the CCP, said that it was significant that they were holding such an event on the day after Thanksgiving. He asked everyone to think about why, wherever the Communist Party goes, there is always conflict. He said, "Everyone, look around. Don't you agree? If a CCP agent comes to a community, struggles and disputes start. Everyone becomes unfriendly."

He said, "We appreciate the effect of the Nine Commentaries in helping Chinese people to re-evaluate themselves and Chinese history and in bringing hope to the Chinese people."

Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners Speaker: "Quitting the CCP Follows Heaven's Wish"

Ms. Zhan Qing, a representative from the Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners, said, "Quitting the CCP follows Heaven's wish. During the last three years since the publication of the Nine Commentaries, people have come to understand that China and the CCP are not the same thing. More and more people have quit the CCP and/or its affiliated organisations. This phenomenon is attracting the attention of people and governments around the world."In persecuting Falun Gong, the CCP has adopted every despicable tactic imaginable. The Nine Commentaries are swords that can destroy the CCP and expose its roots. People don't believe the CCP anymore. Service centers for quitting the CCP have been established in over 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and federal municipalities in China. In some villages, everyone has quit the CCP and/or its affiliated organisations. Some people in remote areas walk for over ten miles to find a channel to issue their statement to withdraw from the CCP."

She continued, "Everyone has come to recognise the CCP's evil nature. People have seen during the last eight years that practitioners are peaceful, rational, and steadfast in protesting the persecution. They not only ask for their right to practise Falun Gong but also uphold justice and truth. More and more righteous people, including some within the CCP system itself, recognised the reality and urgency of the destruction of the CCP. They stand up and call for an end to the CCP's bloody and violent tyranny and its persecution of Falun Gong.

Computer Engineer: "Quit the CCP for a Safe Future"

Computer engineer Zhang Xinyu said, "Heaven's destruction of the CCP is inevitable. Plagues occurred in ancient Rome when it persecuted the Christians. It is estimated that over 300,000 died in the plague in Istanbul. Initially, the number of dead was carefully recorded. As more and more died, there was no one count them. In the end, the entire city was almost empty."

He continued, "The CCP is just like a rotten apple. Those who have pledged an oath to defend the CCP's red flag face the danger of destruction. Quitting the CCP will ensure a safe future."

Dr. Chu Wei: "The Biggest Issue in China Is the Moral Crisis"

Dr. Chu Fei said at the rally, "The problems in Chinese society, politics, and the economy are snowballing. The biggest issue in China is the moral crisis, which is responsible for various social crises."

Chinese Engineer: "The CCP Will Destroy the Future of the Chinese People and No One Should Have Any Illusions about It."

Wu Zhengxiong (pseudonym) is an engineer in a coastal region in Guangdong Province. He and his wife came to the US to visit relatives and passed by the square. The Nine Commentaries caught their attention and they stopped to look. He said he had downloaded the Nine Commentaries to read and accessed The Epoch Times, Minghui.org, and other blocked websites when he was in China. He thinks that the CCP is harmful to the Chinese people. He quit the CCP after hearing the news about so many people withdrawing.

He said, "The CCP deceives people. For example, it never opposed Japan's invasion and even blocked efforts to oppose it. We know this for a fact. The CCP persecutes people again and again in its various political movements such as the Cultural Revolution. Many people were killed and Chinese traditional culture was destroyed. Later, the CCP killed students and Beijing residents during the 'June 4th' incident. Now it persecutes Falun Gong practitioners."

Mr. Wu said, "I do not practise Falun Gong, but I think everyone should follow the principle 'Truth-Compassion-Tolerance.' I am very sympathetic to Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China. The CCP's persecution is utterly wrong. It can destroy people's bodies, but not their spirits and belief."

When someone suggested that the CCP would improve after China's economy developed, Mr. Wu said, "The nature of the CCP will never change. No one should have any illusions about it. The CCP now seems to be focusing on the economy, which will mislead many people. Actually, it is destroying the future of the Chinese people as it destroys the country's ecosystems and moral values. Where will they live when the environment has been destroyed? How will they get along with no morality?"
