Mr. Xie Yonggang from Hubei Province, Ms. Du Xiuju from Jiangsu Province and Ms. Wang Xunlan from Shandong Province had been detained for several years because they persevered in their belief in Falun Gong. On the same days they were released from prison, the perpetrators from the 610 Office1 and other authorities arrested them and took them to brainwashing centres to forcibly transform them. This kind of incident has occurred all over the country. It shows that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has thoroughly failed in its attempts to "transform2" Falun Gong practitioners. On the other hand, it reveals that the CCP is very afraid of the steadfast practitioners.

Mr. Xie Yonggang from Huangshi City, Hubei Province was Arrested and Taken to the Brainwashing Centre after Five Years of Imprisonment.

Mr. Xie Yonggang was sentenced to prison five years ago. He should have been released on July 25th, 2007. However, the CCP perpetrators took him directly from the Shayang Forced Labour Camp to one of the brainwashing centres in Wuhan City. His current situation is unknown.

Xie Yonggang, 30, is from Huangshi City, Hubei Province. He has practised Falun Gong resolutely. On July 25th, 2002, he was arrested and later sentenced to five years in prison. He has since been detained in Qinduankou Prison in Wuhan City and the No. 3 Division of Shayang Forced Labour Camp in Zhongxiang County, Hubei Province.

On July 25th of this year, Mr. Xie's term of detention expired. The related perpetrators informed his family that they had already arrested and taken Mr. Xie to Wuhan Shuiguohu Brainwashing Centre. He has not been heard from since.

Ms. Du Xiuju from Jiangsu Province was Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Centre by Agents of the "610 Office" after Five Years of Imprisonment

Ms. Du Xiuju, who is from Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, was detained in Nanjing Women's Prison for three years. She should have been released on August 17th, 2007. Unexpectedly and on that same day, Lianyungang City Police Department "610 Office" Section Chief Zhang and Deputy Chief, Xiong Jinxia, directly took Ms. Du to Taizhou Brainwashing Centre to persecute her.

Ms. Du's younger sister had come from a great distance in the northeast to Lianyungang City to pick her up. The "610 Office" did not release Ms. Du, and they even detained Ms. Du's younger sister in the Brainwashing Centre for three days.

Ms. Wang Xunlan from Shandong Province was Arrested and Taken to the Brainwashing Class by the Officers of the "610 Office" after Three Years of Forced Labour.

Ms. Wang Xunlan, who is from Zibo City, Shandong Province, was turned in when she distributed leaflets exposing the persecution at her workplace in 2004. Later, she was arrested by the policemen of Gongshan Police Station of Qidu District Police Department. She then was sentenced to three years of forced labour and taken to the notorious Wangcun No. 2 Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province. During the time she was detained, Ms. Wang persisted in practising Falun Gong and refused to give up her belief.

On August 27th, 2007, Ms. Wang's term expired. The perpetrators from Zhangdian District "610 Office" arrested her and then took her to Zibo City Brainwashing Centre to continue persecuting her.
