Norway: Demonstration at the Chinese Embassy in Oslo

Despite pouring rain, several Falun Gong practitioners in Norway held a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Oslo on June 1st, 2007. They demonstrated against the Chinese regime's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and at the same time showed their support for the twenty two million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

In March 2006, the first witness appeared and exposed the Chinese regimes crimes of stealing organs from living Falun Gong-practitioners. The practitioners are shortly afterward cremated to remove all evidence of the crime and the organs are sold for high profit. The information has later been confirmed by others. Some months later, two independent Canadian investigators, David Kilgour, former Canadian MP and Secretary of State for the Asia Pacific region and David Matas, renowned human rights lawyer, published their report. They described the organ harvesting as "a disgusting form of evil which, despite all the depravities humanity has seen, is new to this planet". In addition, the UN's Special Rapporteur for Torture, Manfred Nowak, mentioned the organ harvesting in his report in March this year. He said, "Organ harvesting has been inflicted on a large number of unwilling Falun Gong practitioners at a wide variety of locations, for the purpose making available organs for transplant operations."

At the same time, Falun Gong practitioners in Norway showed their support for the twenty two million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP is responsible for unimaginable crimes, responsible for eighty million people's deaths and is now carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong. The withdrawals started after the international newspaper The Epoch Times published the book named "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party". The book is popular among the Chinese citizens, but feared by the CCP. It reveals the CCP nature, how the CCP has seized and keep the power with the use of lies, threats, terror and violence. Furthermore, the number of withdrawals is increasing by about 30.000 each day and it looks as if the CCP is soon going to crumble from within.


The text on banner says: "We support the 22 million Chinese who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party."	The text on the poster says: "Death camps for profit in China. Removes organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremate them immediately to eliminate all evidence."

The response from the Norwegian people

Because of the pouring rain and since the street is relatively quiet, the manifestation was carried out by showing the banners and demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises.

The police was present under the manifestation. One of the policemen had read all the information which was attached to the application for the manifestation. He was interested to know more about the injustice done to Falun Gong. During the manifestation, the police car was parked close to the manifestation area. The Falun Gong exercises were literally done under the protection of the police!

Several cars driving by stopped in the middle of the street to read our poster and banner, and showed their support by raising their thumbs up. Two construction workers passed by and wanted to hear more about the manifestation. Later, they left with a sincere "Good luck!"
