On the morning of April 17th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit against Wu Guanzheng for the crimes of genocide and torture of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Wu, a member of the standing Committee of China’s Communist Party Politburo and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Chinese Communist Party, is currently visiting Spain.

Wu Guanzheng was Party Chief of Shandong Province between 1997 and November 2002. During this period, Wu was directly involved in carrying out Jiang Zemin’s order of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. At least one hundred Falun Gong practitioners were tortured to death in Shandong Province, making the province one of the most severe areas of persecution in China.

Currently the Justice Department of Spain has started its investigation into the Chinese Communist regime’s genocide against Falun Gong. In June 2006, the Spanish National Court accepted the lawsuit against Jia Qinglin, a member of the standing Committee of China’s Communist Party Politburo and Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Committee. The Spanish Justice organisation already formerly started the legal procedure to investigate his crimes against Falun Gong.

The judge already applied to the United Nations’ Human Rights Commission, Amnesty International and other human rights organisations for information. Aside from this, the judge has personally requested to the Chinese Government, through the Spanish Foreign Department, for information of the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong. An international arrest warrant was issued for Jia Qinglin so that if Jia visits other European countries, he faces arrest and extradition to Spain.

The prime culprits of this most severe persecution in human history, former head of the Chinese Communist Party Jiang Zemin and senior CCP official Luo Gang, are also under close watch by the Spanish Justice Department. Recently the Spanish Supreme Court and the Constitution Court has started to collect evidence of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners from the lawyers.
