March 20, 2002, Geneva -- About 1,000 Falun Gong practitioners from North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and other parts of the world gathered in front of the United Nations Building in Geneva, Switzerland to urgently appeal to the U.N. Human Rights Commission to stop the brutal persecution by Jiang' regime and rescue the practitioners being persecuted in China.

Practitioners peacefully held photographs of those practitioners who are known to have died in China from brutal treatment and tortures for not giving up their practice of Falun Gong. Practitioners also did the Falun Gong exercises and the righteous thoughts meditation. Many people passing by expressed their support.
