The Confession of a Policeman from Shengli Oil Field, China

I am a policeman from Sengli Oil Field. I'd like to write down my personal opinions from being a policeman for so many years. Because of safety concerns, I cannot describe many things in detail. Please forgive me.

At the beginning of my career as a policeman, I thought that police work was a noble profession, since policemen maintain justice, punish the bad, promote good, and protect people. Therefore, I worked hard and followed the laws to handle all my cases. However, as time went by, reality shattered my dreams again and again. I started to become numb. I saw my colleagues intrigue and fight against each other for power or money, intentionally break the laws during their work, and protect organised crime. The People's Police became the biggest gangsters. For example, there was a car robbery case. We put it on record as per the normal procedures. While preparing to catch the suspect, after an investigation, a high-ranking official called us to cancel the case, since it was settled privately. Another example was when we were supposed to crack down on prostitution. We first had to send someone to check if any government officials from the Public Security Bureau, Procuratorate, or People's Court were at the location we were about to raid. In order to avoid an embarrassing situation, we had to make sure there were no government officials present before we raided the place. Some things people have said to describe the police are really true, such as "They wear pants (uniforms) to crack down on prostitution, they take off their pants (uniform) to prostitute themselves."

The first responsibility of the People's Police is to make sure the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) remains in power. However, a lot of facts made me lose my confidence in the CCP. The corruption problems of government officials are out of control. For example, their office buildings have to be stylish. Their cars need to be luxurious. One of their meals could cost thousands of yuan. Wine for their meals are the most expensive. Their cigarettes must be the topmost brand for 100 yuan a pack. Recently, reports on crimes of corruption have revealed that not only is the amount of money involved huge, but also most of the officials involved are having sexual affairs. In addition, their affairs tend to be more open and acceptable to the public. More and more officials are only after three things: power, money, and women. On the other hand, the living standard for ordinary people is getting lower and lower. Health care, education, and housing expenses have become the three most serious burdens for the general public. Last year, to fight for their legal rights, the employees of the Oil Field occupied the office building of the Oil Field Administrative Bureau. Hu Jintao personally directed the suppressive action against us. As a result, all of the people attending the activity were forced to attend legal system education classes and write guarantee statements. Some of them were even secretly sentenced to prison. The Oil Field spent tens of millions of "yuan" to support the extra expenses of the police.

In April of this year, I had the opportunity to see some programs about the CCP's systematic organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. I was shocked, because I have relatives that practise Falun Gong. I know that Falun Gong teaches people to behave well, to not fight back when punched or insulted, to work hard, to be a good citizen in the society, to do well in one's family, and to look inside themselves when there is a conflict. The CCP persecutes these ordinary people without any restraint, only because they want to be good people and insist in their beliefs.

The real situation in China today is this: The taxpayers' money is being stolen by the powerful and corrupt gangs of officials. The money is used by all levels of officials to create fake images and to establish systems within the military, the police, and special agent organisations to murder and suppress people in order to keep the CCP in power, as well as to buy support from other countries to cover up their crimes of genocide. The CCP is actually an organisation of corruption, murder, and deception.

This is the actual reason why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. Falun Gong teaches "Truthfulness, Comparison, and Forbearance", which is an upright way. The core principles of the CCP are the exact opposite.

Recently, the police held secret meetings in northeast China and the "newest principles" for persecuting Falun Gong were delivered. The first was, "the impact of Falun Gong on society is huge and has resulted in a deeply negative effect on the image of the public security bureau." Thus, "the Falun Gong issue should be handled in secret, with no publicity and no spreading of any information, and with an effort to reduce the impact on the public to a minimum." The second was, "some public security personnel often visited Falun Gong websites and later changed their viewpoints, which seriously affected their effectiveness. Thus, from now on, all public security personnel are forbidden from visiting Minghui or any other Falun Gong websites." Actually, I now understand the evil nature of the CCP after visiting Minghui, The Epoch Times, and Renminbao websites. The two standards that the CCP follows in persecuting Falun Gong are lies and violence.

Seven years have passed since the persecution began in 1999. In these seven years and facing the lies and violence of the CCP, Falun Gong practitioners always followed the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" to peacefully and rationally protest against the persecution. They spread leaflets or mail letters to clarify the truth and disclose the facts covered up by the CCP. Gradually, the consciences of more and more people are awakening. People understand more about how serious the persecution is. Even the people forced to participate in the persecution are awakening.

Many of my colleagues understand the law of "due retribution of good and evil." Knowing the history of the CCP's past activities, they learnt about the CCP's evil nature and know the miserable plights of the practitioners. They refuse to be the weapons or tools used by the CCP. They have said, "Unless we have to, we would like to avoid bad things, and do our best to do good things." In order to pay back what they did before, they even inform Falun Gong practitioners when they are about to make arrests and help to collect the evidence on the principle criminals of the persecution. After understanding the truth, some national security agents resigned from the CCP, wrote down their experiences to warn other people, and even used the tapping devices to collect evidence against the real criminals. They gave that evidence to the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG). Now, fewer and fewer people are willing to actively get involved in the persecution. More and more people are choosing to make up for what they did. The CCP's persecution against Falun Gong is coming to an end.

Here, I want to warn those people who used to be Falun Gong practitioners and are currently still working as secret agents for the National Security Group. Using your fear of the CCP, the National Security policemen use all kinds of methods to force you to be their secret agents. They give you thousands or tens of thousands of yuan as a reward. However, that's only a small profit for the short-term. You are very unwise! Actually, the CCP and National Security police have even more to fear because they are responsible for so many crimes, and they fear any exposure! I have obtained a list of names of the secret agents for the areas of oil-extraction and well-drilling, and the Shengdong area. If these people provide any more information to the National Security Group, I will disclose the list.

Since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in November 2004, a great wave of withdrawals from the Communist Party has taken place. Many of them are high-level officials from the Party and political and military organisations. The CCP is going against the will of heaven and against the Chinese people. As a result, more people are awakening and hastening its fall.
