Former Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) for Canada and senior MP, David Kilgour, was invited by Lord Thurlow, former UK diplomat, to hold a seminar in the Houses of Parliament on July 17th regarding the CCP’s trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. The UK MPs who attended the seminar appealed to the UK government to take measures to stop the CCP’s atrocities.

According to a report by NTDTV on July 17th, the seminar was held in the Houses of Parliament in London. Mr. Kilgour introduced the attendees to the report he wrote in Canada, and answered questions raised by the MPs and media. He pointed out that in China, since Falun Gong has been persecuted since 1999 to now, there were 41,500 organ transplant operations which the CCP are not clear about. However, the allegation of harvesting the organs from living Falun Gong practitioners answers this question. “The Chinese government dares not let anyone believe that all the organs used in these 41,000 transplant operations they admitted are from death convicts.”

The MP of the Liberal Democratic Party thought this investigation report is a very important report. He thought the UK government has the responsibility to stand opposed to the CCP’s behavior. “I think our government has the responsibility to have the courage to tell the Chinese government that we can not tolerate this kind of thing anymore.”

The MP Helen Goodman, from the Labour Party, told the NTDTV reporter after the seminar that she would further urge the Foreign Office to take action. “To be specific, I think there are two aspects: one is to put the squeeze on the Chinese government, another is to ensure the doctors and patients in UK will not collaborate with this kind of thing.”

Ms. Laura, a Falun Gong practitioner and now studying at Cambridge University, gave a speech to tell the participants the torture she bore in a labour camps in China and verified the truth that she was forced to take the physical as well as a Hematology test while imprisoned in a labour camp.
