Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai is one of the main culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong. On June 6th, 2006, during his recent visit to the Philippines, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in front of the Manila Hotel and exposed Bo's brutal crimes in carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong. Later, the practitioners handed over a letter to the hotel and asked the hotel to give it to Bo Xilai.

Bo Xilai has been sued in seven countries for the crimes of torture and genocide.

Up until April 2004 Bo was governor of Liaoning Province. At this time, at least 103 practitioners under his jurisdiction were tortured to death. Recently several witnesses disclosed that there was a secret concentration camp in Sujiatun, Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Since 2001, live organ removal from practitioners has been conducted in the camp. Bo Xilai must be held accountable for the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in Liaoning Province.

Practitioners strongly protested Bo Xilai's entry into the Philippines. The practitioners called upon the Philippine government to uphold justice and conscience to help stop the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong.
