The righteous call for justice from Parisian residents

People sign the petition against the persecution in China

The Chinese Communist regime established a Nazi-style concentration camp in Sujiatun district, Shenyang province, where at least 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners were illegally detained. In addition to cruel persecution and killing, their organs were removed for sale to make huge profit and their bodies were cremated to eliminate evidence. With the exposure of these atrocities, people at all levels were extremely shocked and have strongly protested against them.

On March the 21st and 22nd, French Falun Gong practitioners exposed the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities at Paris City Hall, L’Hotel de Ville and Alma Marceau in the vicinity of the Chinese Consulate in the Sixteenth District of Paris, by means of displaying photos, collecting petition signatures and distributing leaflets. They intended to expose the atrocities the Chinese Communist regime has committed in the Nazi-style concentration camp to the mainstream society and the general public. They also called on the French Government and its people to help put an end to the persecution and killing, and urgently rescue the Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in Sujiatun Concentration Camp.

A Falun Gong practitioner explains the facts of the persecution to passersby Many people want to find out more

Passersby stopped to listen attentively to the practitioners’ explanations of the facts about the persecution, as well as their urgent call for help. They also viewed the photos and the captions on display boards. After hearing about various cruel torture methods used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and the on-going atrocities taking place in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang, people expressed their support for justice and their indignation at the evil atrocity.

Despite the cold weather and the fact that it kept raining in the vicinity of the Chinese Embassy during the two days when they exposed the regime’s evil crimes, Falun Gong practitioners persisted explaining the facts to people in the rain and urged those who have a sense of justice to help rescue the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.

When passing by the Paris City Hall on his bicycle, Lewis Jennet, a youngster from Italy, viewed some of the Falun Gong practitioners’ poster display boards. He then talked to a Falun Gong practitioner, saying “The approach employed by the Chinese Communist regime to eliminate evidence by killing in Sujiatun Concentration Camp is really horrible. We must expose the Chinese regime’s secret to all people. If we don’t reveal such secrets to the outside world, people will never know what’s going on in autocratic countries like China. Through this activity, we can let more governments and people around the world know about these horrendous atrocities, and the persecution initiated by the Chinese regime must be stopped.” He added: “They have talked to me a lot just now. I have come to know that Falun Gong is a very good cultivation practice, and it can help people become kindhearted and compassionate. I plan to practise Falun Gong as well.”

Ms. Crino Rosa, a Brazilian studying in France who majored in human rights-related subjects, took the initiative to sign the petition against the persecution and asked for more information after she viewed the materials about the on-going atrocities in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. She said: “It is regrettable that China’s human rights situation was not improved in recent years, and on the contrary, it is getting worse and worse. It is really unacceptable for me to see that atrocities similar to those happening in Nazi concentration camps exist in China today.”

Mr. Belthezene, who is a manager of a French company, saw the poster display boards when passing by the entrance to the Alma Marceau Subway Station. He wrinkled his brow and swayed his head while mumbling: “Incredible! Too terrible!”

Mr. Belthezene told our reporter that France and other places had undergone the atrocities of Nazi concentration camps in the twentieth century. It was extremely terrible. At present, the real situation in China is that it frequently executes criminals as well as keeps persecuting and killing its people, which is a sharp contrast to what the Chinese Communist regime has alleged to the outside world. As to the Chinese regime’s secret establishment of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, he said: “It is incredible that such a violent atrocity of harvesting human organs in a concentration camp took place in China. I was extremely shocked to learn about the violent persecution. It appears that China is marching towards civilization, but judging from these cruel incidents, it is in fact a barbarian country. For westerners, in particular French, the atrocities occurring during the Second World War in the twentieth century has no longer existed, but they do exist in the concentration camp in China. I think it should be spread to the entire world, so as to let all the people know the facts about the Chinese Communist regime’s cruel atrocities. Let’s cooperate together to put an end to this concentration camp.”

Mr. Belthezene thinks that today China, under the Chinese Communist regime’s rule, is not a democratic and free country, so western countries must be very careful when dealing with it. He said: “Take Google for instance. It cooperates with the Government of China on censorship issues. People in China are unable to surf on the Internet freely. So we must be very careful and not to cooperate with the Chinese Communist regime.”

Exposing the atrocities about the Sujiatun concentration camp in Villier

On March the 23rd 2006, Falun Gong practitioners gathered at Villier, an area where many law firms are situated, to expose the atrocities in the Nazi-style concentration camp in China to the general public by means of displaying photos, collecting petition signatures and distributing leaflets.

An Algerian who is a student of a French university and is also a Falun Gong practitioner said: “I cannot accept this kind of cruel killing act. The persecuted Falun Gong practitioners are noble, sincere and kind-hearted people. I’m here to help rescue the Falun Gong practitioners who are being detained in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp.”

After viewing the photos of the Falun Gong practitioners who are being cruelly persecuted, American student Emily said: “We should not keep silent in the face of the evil atrocities. Each of us needs to bravely step forward to expose the evil crimes.” She added: “I’m very concerned about what is going in the world, because I think they will have much to do with us. That’s why I was very shocked to find out about the Sujiatun Concentration Camp incident.”

Steven, assistant to the Paris Mayor in the Sixteenth District of Paris, who is responsible for the Green Party’s legal affairs, passed by the display boards exposing the atrocities in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp when he went to do some exercises in the morning. He said: “You should let more French people and those in other western countries understand the facts about the concentration camp. The concentration camp in Sujiatun is similar to the Gulag concentration camps established by the former Soviet Union. We know that the forced labour camps in China are actually the Gulag concentration camps, and they should not exist any longer.”

He added: “I’m a representative of the Green Party, and I’m very concerned about democracy in China. Your exposing the persecution by means of peaceful approaches is of much help to the development and promotion of democracy in China. Especially for a country without democracy due to autocratic rule, peaceful protests are much more needed.”
