Poem: This is Murder

This is murder in the first degree
This is blood-lust by the ‘Party’s’* decree
This is China in its darkest hour
This is hope turning sour

This is terror, a campaign of lies
This is brutality and its countless crimes
This is madness by an evil regime
This is justice torn at the seams

This is innocence cruelly betrayed
This is freedom tattered and frayed
This is blood-lust by the ‘Party’s’ decree
This is murder in the first degree!
