On Saturday February 3rd, 2006, in Ludwigshafen, a town on the banks of the River Rhine, Falun Gong practitioners gathered to tell local people about Falun Gong and the inhumane persecution that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in China.

In front of City Hall, in the busy city centre, Falun Gong practitioners set up their information desk and a poster display on the pedestrian street.

The photos on the poster attracted a great deal of interest:

A pedestrian looks at the picture and reads the text A young girl looks at a picture of a crying Chinese boy entitled “Why?” - Why do they beat me and my mum?

Children also want to find out more about the persecution of Falun Gong:

Listening to a practitioner’s explanation

A boy is delighted after receiving a leaflet An older boy reads the leaflet carefully

A passer-by learning the exercises:

A practitioner explains and teaches the exercises to a young lady

Many people sign the petition after listening to the detailed explanation:

Some pedestrians want to find out even more about the terrible things happening in China Lots of people express their support and sympathy by signing the petition
