On February 9th, Turkish practitioners from Mersin and Ankara had talked about the persecution to the government, TV stations and newspapers. Consequently, the KANAL-D TV station invited the practitioners to the morning news on February 15th.

During the programme, practitioners spent 10 minutes introducing Falun Gong. They told the audience that the practice originates from an ancient cultivation method and guides practitioners to cultivate their moral character by following the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance”. In addition, Falun Gong has five sets of exercises. Cultivation of Falun Gong with both the moral aspect and the exercises can bring profound benefits to one’s mind and body. Falun Gong is now practised in 78 countries. In Turkey, one can practise Falun Gong in the parks of many major cities and practitioners offer free instruction.

At the same time, several practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. They next talked about the ongoing persecution against Falun Gong and the severe human rights violations against practitioners in China by the totalitarian communist regime.

The host told his audience: “I hope every Turkish will practise Falun Gong and have a healthy body.” Immediately after the news, the TV station received many phone inquiries about Falun Gong.
