Corrupt Officials and Unscrupulous Merchants of Bo'ai County, Henan Province Extort Money from Local Residents and Transfer Blame to Falun Dafa

In Bo'ai County of Henan Province, corrupt officials colluded with unscrupulous merchants to sell television cable boxes to local residents, requiring every home to buy the boxes. They forced each homeowner to buy separate boxes for each television in the same house. Those who refused to buy the boxes but installed outdoor antenna on their own were threatened by the police department. Complaints from local residents were heard everywhere after this occurred. Recently, the television station has been displaying a so-called "explanation" by the head of the County Broadcast Department, who said that some television stations were interrupted by Falun Dafa television programmes and that the reason for making every house buy the boxes was to prevent this from happening. They are trying to direct the complaints from the local residents towards Falun Dafa.

It is truly hard to cover up the evil conspiracy of the corrupt officials and unscrupulous merchants with such a clumsy lie. The local residents questioned the unlawful officials and the unscrupulous merchants, "If you are truly trying to prevent cable television from being interrupted, why don't you allow the residents to install outdoor antenna to receive the wireless signals? Furthermore, every house only needs one box to control the source of the television signals. Why don't you allow us to use only one box? Why do you instead require us to buy a box for each television?"

Since July 20th, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Jiang's regime have used the power in their hands to manipulate the entire propaganda machine of China to systematically persecute Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners. They mobilised all media of the country, and the news media have been using all kinds of tactics to lie, frame and fabricate false information. They repeatedly spread hate propaganda against Falun Dafa.

In the face of the senseless persecution, appeal offices have been turned into places where good people are arrested. Being deprived of any place to appeal, Falun Dafa practitioners have been telling people, who had been misled by the government propaganda, the facts about Falun Dafa, informing them of the goodness of Falun Dafa and exposing the lies and the violence of the persecutors. These actions are all to allow people to learn the truth. They return the general public's right to know the truth, such that they are no longer fooled by the lies. Such actions are the righteous actions of being responsible to the entire society.

We hope that the local residents of Bo'ai County can recognise the evil beings' tactics of lies and expose them, condemn the persecution of Falun Dafa and condemn the criminal acts of extorting money from the local people.
