Police Torture Female Practitioner To Death And Conceal The Facts

A twenty-two-year-old female Falun Gong practitioner, whose identity is unknown, was tortured to death on November 3, 2001. A description of this woman is the only identification available. She was five feet three inches tall, had short hair, was dressed in red clothing (red pants, red socks, and red outer garment) and she spoke fluent Mandarin. On October 26, 2001, she went to Tiananmen Square in order to appeal to the government, but was arrested and illegally detained by the Beijing Police Department, at the Dongcheng Sub-station. She had been on a hunger and water strike from the beginning of her detention until the time of her death on November 3, 2001. The police at Dongcheng Sub-station dealt with her death secretly.
