Massive Extortion, Brainwashing and Large Prison Terms used to Persecute Innocent Practitioners

Qinghua University residential office staff members Chen Kequan, Ren Xihua and Wu Jingjun from the Zhongguancun Police Station recently began another round of persecution of Dafa practitioners who attend Qinghua University. Wu Jingjun declared, "We've arrested and sent to jail every practitioner at Qinghua University, and now it's time to deal with the retirees. If they don't write 'guarantee letters,' we'll send them to brainwashing class."

Some Facts about the Persecution against Dafa Practitioners in Sichuan Province:
11 practitioners in Dazhou City were illegally detained, sent to forced labour camps, or sentenced to jail terms. A female practitioner was sentenced to 9 years in jail for printing and distributing truth-clarifying literature around the 2001 Spring Festival. She is now being detained at Jianyang Prison.

Over 30 practitioners in Weiyuan County were extorted out of money, sent to forced labour camps, and sentenced to jail. Practitioner Sun Yongde was extorted out of more than 6000 Yuan and tortured to death.

A female practitioner was extorted out of 5000 Yuan on February 17. Later she was transferred to the brainwashing class in Pi County, where she was extorted out of another 2000 Yuan.

In Nanjiang County, 8 practitioners were persecuted. 73-year-old Yue Junsong was sentenced to 3 years in a forced labour camp.

13 practitioners were illegally detained in Dazhu County. Zhang Hongqiong, wife of the Wan County prosecutor, was arrested for posting Dafa fliers. Zhang was forcefully paraded through the streets and sentenced to 4 years of forced labour.

A brief summary of the persecution against practitioners in Wanyuan: 18 practitioners in Bazhong region were illegally detained, extorted, sent to forced labour camps, and jailed.
