Irish Practitioners Hold Press Conference

On Tuesday 27th November, Irish practitioners held a press conference in Cork to clarify the truth about the peaceful appeal on Tiananmen Square on the 20th November.

The attendant listened to a brief introduction of Falun Gong, a short description of the persecution and an individual account of the event. Practitioner Brian Trought read his experience and also why he went to Tiananmen Square to those who attended.

Although only one member of press attended, we took this opportunity to tell him about the widespread state terrorism used by Jiang Zemin’s regime. A report was published the following day in one of Ireland’s largest newspapers.

Many other newspapers had already reported the event twice, once after the appeal, and once after the Falun Gong practitioners returned home.
