Poem: The Passage

Passageways ascending,
Darkened beneath my feet…

Before me, thresholds of transparency,
Silhouettes standing sentinel to a waning moon…
A familiar silence finding me in reverie.

‘Sleep’ encompassing worlds, wind stirring
As the sounds of distant ages draw me closer,
Amidst a quandary of half faded memories.

Somewhere, a touch of flame,
Awakenings upon lifetimes emerging…
Eyes widened, come beckon heart beyond self, my place of true origins.
Destined, towards the “Great Law”,
Here, I and millions more enter!

One passageway transcending,
Now luminous beneath my feet…
