Resisting, Breaking through and Scaring the Viciousness: Three Stories from a Sichuan Suburb

1. Refusing to be Arrested

There was a female Falun Dafa practitioner whose whereabouts were reported to the police. The policemen suddenly came to her home to search for Falun Dafa materials. They were very vicious. Upon finding some materials, they tried to extract information from her (concerning the origins of the information), but she did not say anything. The vicious policemen then wanted to take her away, but she said righteously, "We can talk right here. Don't even think of bringing me to the public security bureau!" She then went into the kitchen and started cooking. The policemen kicked the kitchen door open and tried to force her to go with them. She said: "You go ahead first." The policemen obeyed and really proceeded to go ahead first. She waited until they stepped outside and then shut the door behind them. She did not respond to their attempts anymore. As a result, they stood outside for a long time and finally left in frustration.

2. Breaking Through the Viciousness

There was a widowed Falun Dafa practitioner whose home was searched for materials. Afterwards, she was brought to the public security bureau. Upon arriving there she at once crossed her legs and sat in the sitting meditation, saying, "All of you sit tight, I will now introduce Falun Dafa to you." She proceeded, "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa (way; principles of the universe) and difficult to attain even in tens of thousands of years. You should all come to listen." She started by exposing the lies of the government, breaking down and analyzing each one piece by piece. The policemen did not know what to say to her. One officer was so annoyed that he stepped in front of her and spat at her. She said to him at once, "It is my responsibility to tell you the truth about Falun Dafa, but it is up to you whether to listen or not. Please do not miss this chance."

After a while, the public security bureau had no other choice but to let her go. After returning home she later said, "I am not well educated. Sometimes when studying the Fa [way/principles] I need other practitioners to read the Fa to me. But when facing the viciousness I remember all of the Fa principles and I spoke very smoothly. This is the power of Dafa [Great Way]!"

3. Scaring the Viciousness

As the truth clarifying activities spread wider and wider, each day having greater effects, the related departments of the city under the persecutors' control become more and more scared. Since August 20, 2001, the staff of the District Political and Legal Department has been on duty in shifts. Their jobs are to report so-called "peace" to the city government every day, report if there are any Falun Dafa practitioners going to Beijing, if there are Falun Dafa materials being spread, and if there are gatherings and appeals by Falun Dafa practitioners. The Traffic Department has recently passed the order directly that: "If there is anyone in the unit and department with family members that practice Falun Dafa, we will definitely torture them to death and destroy their family -- otherwise we would lose our jobs!"
