On the third day of Australian artist Zhang Cuiying´s visit to the Czech Republic, she was invited to attend a lunch at the ancient Waldstein Palace in the Lesser Town of Prague, the seat of the Czech Parliament. A Member of Parliament organised the lunch because he wanted to meet Cuiying and discuss her work and her journeys to various countries to tell more people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. This Parliament Member was one of the many people who saw an interview with Zhang Cuiying on Czech TV two days before the lunch was organised. He was very pleased with the quality of the programme and the clarity of the message that Cuiying portrayed to the Czech people.

The MP expressed his regret at not being able to attend the painting exhibition for VIPs the day before, due to being busy with his governmental duties. He said he had wanted Cuiying to meet with other Members of Parliament as well as Ministers and Officials of the Government. He had hoped that the other MPs and governmental officials would invite her to return to the Czech Republic as soon as she could. He also personally invited her to hold an exhibition in the main town of his constituency. Zhang Cuiying gave this MP a painting, entitled “Mountain”, together with materials revealing more information on Falun Dafa.

After lunch, Cuiying met with the Minister of Culture, who also expressed his disappointment at being unable to attend the previous day’s exhibition due to being busy with governmental duties. On this day he finally got the chance to meet Zhang Cuiying, who presented him with a painting entitled “Harmony”. The painting will now be placed in an ancient Czech castle that is devoted to displaying items of deep cultural significance. Since that day’s Parliamentary session lasted an extremely long time, other VIPs could only talk briefly to Zhang Cuiying. They expressed a desire to meet with her in the future when there would be more time and also invited her to return to various places in the Czech Republic to hold more exhibitions.

Meanwhile at the exhibition in the city centre, people from other governmental offices continued to arrive to see the paintings and sign the petition. A well known artist also came to the exhibition and decided to come back daily to learn more about Zhang Cuiying’s wonderful and exhilarating method of painting.

Government officials in the Czech Houses of Parliament were sent materials about the persecution of Falun Gong in China; copies of the “2003 Falun Gong Report”, which reveals China’s State Terrorism against women and children, were placed in the Key Reference Section of the Libraries of the Central Government of the Czech Republic, together with other Falun Gong materials. These materials were left to reveal the persecution of Falun Dafa in China and as a resource for governmental officials. Officials and their assistants who received the "Falun Gong report" treated it with so much respect and utmost courtesy in remembrance for the tortured practitioners in China and for those who lost theirs lives, that the Czech practitioners were moved to tears.
