Practitioners celebrated the annual World Falun Dafa Day on May 26 at Sad Im. N.e. Baumana, a community park in central Moscow. The event commemorates the anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction in China on May 13, 1992.

The activities began with a parade, including a section in heavenly maiden costumes, a demonstration of the Falun Dafa exercises, waist drummers, and a dragon dance. Many passersby took pictures, and some called out, “You are awesome! Thank you!”

On stage, the host of the event introduced Falun Dafa, how it is practiced by people in over 100 countries, and its brutal persecution by the communist regime in China. Practitioners sang and danced on stage. Spectators applauded the performers, especially the waist drummers and dragon dancers.

Next to the stage, a large television screen played an interview of practitioners by local news media, as well as videos introducing Falun Dafa. In the signature drive, Petals of Peace, many people signed a petition calling on the Chinese regime to stop its suppression of Falun Dafa.

Some people learned the Falun Dafa exercises from practitioners. Park staff also thanked practitioners for sharing the meditation practice with the community.
