Korean student Kane and his British classmate sign petition calling for an end of the persecution

Kane, a student from South Korea, and his British classmate passed by the Falun Gong display on the evening of December 2. Some practitioners were demonstrating the exercises at the time, while others were distributing fliers and answering questions for passers-by.

Kane has been in UK for nearly ten years. He and his classmate read the posters and were shocked. Reading about the organ harvesting atrocities led him to exclaim, “Insane!”

“How can such thing happen? It is inconceivable. They are abusing human lives.”

Kane agreed that the systemic large scale organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners is state terrorism. He said, “The Party fears people to have traditional culture and values. It controls people and does not allow freedom of belief.”

Kane and his classmate signed the petition and said encouragingly, “People will understand once they know the facts. They will help you. Good luck.”

Paul from London signs the petition calling for an end of the persecution

Paul, a passer-by who is engaged in photography and graphic design, came across a peaceful Falun Gong demonstration outside the Parliament on the afternoon of October 20. Chinese President Xi Jinping was attending an event inside the Parliament that day.

Paul paused and talked with a practitioner. He learned about the CCP's live organ harvesting and praised practitioners' peaceful efforts to stop the persecution. He signed the petition against the live organ harvesting.

Paul said that he'd heard of illegal organ trafficking, but was shocked to learn of the systemic state-sponsored organ harvesting atrocities against Falun Gong in China. He said he knew that the Communist Party is brutal and greedy as it only cares about its power. Remarking that it may be unwise to deal with China for economic interest while sacrificing human rights, he believes justice will prevail.

Andy, a retired computer programmer in the National Health System. He came to the Mall to observe Xi's visit on October 20 and saw the Falun Gong protest. He talked with a practitioner for quite a while and came to understand more about Falun Gong and the persecution it faces in China.

Andy said, “Falun Gong is not against China. It has no threat to any country. It is of interest to me that Chinese government supported Falun Gong before. But former head of the CCP, Jiang Zemin, initiated the persecution out of paranoia. This is unfair treatment to so many innocent people.” He hopes the British government will put the human rights issue forward with China.

Chinese writer Po Zhang came to The Mall in London on October 20 during Xi's visit. He said he was touched to see Falun Gong there.

He thought that it was important for the Chinese people to see the messages of “Falun Dafa is great”, “Stop the persecution” and “The CCP's live organ harvesting is unpardonable.” He indicated that no one should believe in the Party, which continues to deceive people and to suppress those who pursue goodness. He encouraged, “You Falun Gong practitioners must keep up with your peaceful protest.”
