Practitioners performed dances to the music “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “White Lotus Flowers” and other pieces. Many tourists came to watch. There was also a table beside the stage where practitioners taught people how to make paper lotus flowers. They explained how the lotus flower symbolizes purity amidst adversity, much like the Falun Gong practitioners upholding their faith in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in the face of the brutal persecution in China.

The next day it was sunny and many visitors came to the Botanical Gardens. After group exercises, practitioners began their celebration at noon. They demonstrated the exercises, while some visitors followed along with the movements. Practitioners' dance and music performances attracted many visitors to come and watch. There were also displays providing in-depth information about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China that continues today.
