On October 3, practitioners in Austria held an activity at the Altmarkt in Salzburg to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They collected signatures to call for international efforts to end this human tragedy.

Civilians signed a petition to condemn the Chinese Communist Party’s atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners

Upon hearing about the organ harvesting crimes, people often signed the petition immediately. Among them, there were not only Austrians, but also people from Germany, France, Switzerland, Canada, Russia, Spain, and Sri Lanka.

A Chinese PhD student signed the petition. He said that he learned the truth about about the Tiananmen self-immolation hoax many years ago and he had read many Falun Gong materials online. When he was in China, he said that his department chair often told him and his classmates to monitor another student who was a practitioner of Falun Gong. However, from his personal contact with this student, he felt that this student was a very good person. “I admire your persistence,” said the student to the practitioners.

A Scottish family signed the petition. A woman from the family said, “It's very important for the West to know about this issue.”

Dittrn is from Munich and she could see a Falun Gong practice site from her office. She said that she had also read about the persecution. After signing the petition, she said, “Everyone will be held accountable for his or her deeds even though it might not come from a court: God sees everything.”

Ms. Brandstaetter works for the Green Party. She gave the practitioners contact information of several human rights groups so that they can be informed of the organ harvesting atrocities as well.
