Letter to the Editor of a Swiss Newspaper [22.10.2007]

"Practitioners of the peaceful Qigong practice Falun Gong are still being tortured and persecuted. Those people are not criminals; on the contrary, they live according to the principles of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance. It seems as if people with a sense of morals and responsibility are regarded as threatening by the Chinese government. I very much hope that all of us in the West will recognise our responsibility and stop contributing to the problem out of a misplaced sense of greed for cheap goods."

He told the one who gave him the flier, "I have heard about the CCP's poor human rights record, but I had never thought it was so cruel. What you are doing is great! We Athenians support you!"

Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) Writes to German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel [06.05.2007]

"Canadian officials state that ‘the (annual) dialogue was created as a cornerstone of Ottawa's policy of engagement with China on human rights, but today there is "pervasive cynicism" and "dialogue fatigue" among most officials.’ The overriding view of many participants in annual bilateral talks with China is that, although talks have been intended to provide genuine dialogue, they have always descended into a rehearsed propaganda exercise."

Speech Given by European Friends of Falun Gong to Commemorate the April 25th Appeal in Beijing [03.05.2007]

"Today marks the eighth anniversary of the day when 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners spontaneously gathered at Zhongnanhai in Beijing to appeal peacefully to the Chinese government to release practitioners who had been arrested in Tianjin. Since then the Chinese government has been responsible for the worst series of organised persecution ever perpetrated in the history of mankind. Over 3,000 practitioners have been tortured to death in prisons and labour camps across China, while thousands more have been subjected to a horrific variety of abuse and torture with little hope of freedom or justice."

UK Parliament Seminar Speech: “Bloody Harvest: Some Unpalatable Truths as the 2008 China Olympics Approach” [07.04.2007]

"The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) in China now has hundreds of legislators, lawyers, doctors, academics, religious and spiritual leaders in more than twenty countries who are ready to go to China to investigate our report findings. They should be allowed to do so. The Olympic Games and organ snatching cannot occur at the same time in China. The Olympic Charter and movement, including its respect for human dignity and national Olympic committees in seventy countries, require better. I invite the participants in this seminar to examine ways you can help to end this terrible practice. Murdering innocent people for their organs is a new form of evil on this planet."

Letter to IOC from David Kilgour and David Matas [14.03.2007]

"Regrettably, it confirms our earlier conclusion, that the government of China and its agencies in numerous parts of the country, in particular in hospitals but also detention centers and ‘people’s courts’ have put to death a large but unknown number of Falun Gong prisoners of conscience since 1999. Their vital organs, including hearts, kidneys, livers and corneas were virtually, simultaneously seized involuntarily for sale at high prices, sometimes to foreigners who normally face long waits for voluntary donations of such organs in their home countries.”

Geneva Government Adviser Supports Mission into China to Investigate Persecution Against Falun Gong [13.02.2007]

"I hereby give my full support to the principle of sending a mission of inquiry to China concerning the crimes of which practitioners of the Falun Gong spiritual movement are reportedly the victims. Indeed, the signs seem to indicate that these practitioners are subject in imprisonment, torture, even the death penalty, simply because of their adherence to this movement. It seems essential henceforward to validate these accusations."

Swiss Government Official: “What is at stake in this fight is the very principle of human freedom” [12.02.2007]

"I agree to join this coalition so that everything might come to light regarding this barbaric practice of organ harvesting. In opposing barbarism in every form we may hope to save our civilisation. If not, we will become worse than animals. Harvesting organs from human beings by violence is to take apart, bit by bit, our humanity. What is at stake in this fight, beyond the victims, is the very principle of human freedom."

January 2007

Sweden: Letter to the Singapore Goverment [31.01.2007]

"It has come to my knowledge that a show trial against six Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore began on January 22nd in Singapore for having delivered flyers about the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The court was held with only eight seats for the judge and defendants etc, neither media nor relatives were allowed to be present. I believe that Singapore wants to be considered as a part of the international community. But now it seems as Singapore is walking hand in hand with the biggest dictatorship in the world, and is unfortunately influenced by the Chinese Communist Party ... "

Support Letter from Czech MP [28.01.2007]

"It’s a great honour for me to be able to support, even if just symbolically, the very meaningful thing of merit that was accomplished here. But this is just the beginning. Human rights are indivisible and I can’t imagine we would put higher value on business relations then to protecting human rights, dignity and lives when dealing with that regime and having the Olympic Games in China ... I’m urging our government and governments of all EU members to put pressure on China ..."

A letter From a German Lady to the Chinese Ambassador Concerning the Persecution of Falun Gong [09.01.2007]

"We, as members of the Berlin Women’s Study Hall, have the objective to develop and form a cross-cultural and interdenominational dialogue with others. Given that, we listened to a speech about Falun Gong. This was provided to us because of its interconnection with Confucianism and Buddhism, and today’s political conflict between Falun Gong and the Chinese regime. The speech evoked in me horror and a deep set disgust about your inhuman and degrading actions against Chinese citizens."

Austria: Speech by the Rev. Franz Sieder, Co-Founder of Amnesty International in Austria, at the Opening of the International “Truth-Compassion-Tolerance” Art Exhibition in Amstetten City Hall [28.06.2006]

"Although Falun Gong is not a Christian organisation or movement, they still deserve the solidarity of Christians. Falun Gong has chosen values for their banners which are sacred to us Christians as well. In general, we must regard the freedom of religion as a supreme value for which we should be willing to fight no matter where in Austria, in China, or in any other country on earth. The Falun Gong artists are offering this exhibition to the world because they want to open our eyes to this shocking reality."

Austria: Speech Given by the President of the Art and Cultural Association ARS CARA, Host of the Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition in Vienna [26.06.2006]

"Today, everyone is interested in China, everyone want a piece of China’s pie. Everyone wants to trade with China and no one wants to burn their fingers when it comes to human rights in China. Everyone wants to cut a deal, so the human rights situation in China is brushed under the carpet. Therefore, we want to expose the human rights problems with our art and tell everyone that human rights are violated in China. Since the 1960s, everything spiritual and groups that smell just a little of religious doctrine are persecuted and banned in China".

Dear ladies and gentlemen we in Payerbach can help, even if just a little, to achieve the end of human rights violations. Please, look at these pictures ... These pictures tell you more than any media report in the entire world can tell you".

Letter to the Editor: I am shocked that history repeats itself and innocent lives are lost [11.06.2006]

"I think your article clearly points out what the symbols of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the hammer and sickle, really mean. The hammer is a symbol of ‘death’ [The German word for death starts with a capital ‘T’ which looks like a hammer] and the sickle stands for ‘greed and desire’ [the German word for ‘greed’ also starts with a capital ‘G’, which looks like a sickle]. Their motto seems to be: Bludgeon everyone to death who is not for us, cut them into pieces and sell each piece for profit, never mind what everyone else thinks about it.”

Letter to the Editor: “I hope their suffering will come to an end very soon” [09.06.2006]

"The first story I read about Falun Gong dealt with gang rape in the Masanjia Labour camp. I simply can’t imagine how one person can do such a thing to another living being. These types of cruelties are happening in our modern times? I simply refused to believe it when I was reading the first few lines. However, with every new article, I became more certain of the truth behind it. I am most disturbed that I learned about all of this so late!"

Letter to the Editor: It is My Most Fervent Hope that Liu Jizhi has Managed to Make it Out Alive [07.06.2006]

"I read the article about Mrs. Liu Jizhi with deep sadness in my heart. I hope with all my heart and from the depths of my soul that she has somehow managed to make it out of this terrible place. During the last week, I have been praying that she wouldn’t have to suffer additional pain. When I read that Mrs. Jizhi was arrested again, I felt great sorrow. I only wish that I could do something other than merely inform the others around me about the situation and to support Mrs. Liu Jizhi in my thoughts."
