| Austria: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in the Streets of Salzburg [05.07.2007] |
On June 30th, 2007, a group of Austrian Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in the old city of Salzburg to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party. They also hoped to introduce the benefits of practising Falun Gong to local people and visitors visiting the city from all over the world.

A Catholic priest told practitioners that when religion and capitalism could not completely solve social problems, some people, including himself, start to put their hopes in Communism. They look at Communism hoping to find a society where everyone is equal. But the practice from the past few decades proved that Communism is a failure.

Hamburg practitioners organised an information day in support of the twenty million withdrawals form the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The booth was at a coveted location close to the central train station, because there were many passersby in that particular area. A man from Dortmund commented on the theme of the persecution of believers and different-minded people, “I know about it. I come from the former East Germany. The same happened in the former German Democratic Republic (GDR) under the communist regime.” |

| Germany: The Divine Land Marching Band Makes its debut at Frankfurt’s Great Culture Parade [02.07.2007] |
On June 23rd, 2007, the 20th Frankfurt Great Culture Parade was held on the street near Frankfurt Lake. The parade attracts about 120,000 spectators every year. Composed of 160 Falun Gong practitioners, the European Falun Gong Divine Land Marching Band made its debut at the parade.

| Switzerland: Promoting Falun Gong at the Municipal Government Buildings in Zurich [01.07.2007] |
On June 23rd, 2007, Swiss Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in front of the municipal government buildings in Zurich. They set up a table at the foot of the bridge across the Limat River and displayed photographs and posters to expose the crimes of the Communist regime and the persecution of Falun Gong. Many tourists stopped to read the posters exposing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s crime of harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners and the photos of Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death. |

| France: Practitioners Teach Falun Gong Exercises on Qigong Day in Paris [30.06.2007] |
During the annual Qigong Day in France a variety of qigong groups gathered in Vincennes Park to teach qigong for a fee. However, Falun Dafa is always free to learn so Falun Gong practitioners taught the exercises for no cost. Several Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises and distributed leaflets nearby.

| Turkey: Letting Turkish Students Know about Falun Gong and the Persecution Taking Place in China [29.06.2007] |
On May 6th, Cemgil Arslan, the headteacher of the Bilge Elit Dershanesi school in Mersin, invited two Falun Gong practitioners to hold a presentation about Falun Gong in the school. They introduced the practice and its principles of ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance’ to the students and taught them the five Falun Gong exercises.

Falun Gong practitioners visited Piestany in western Slovakia to introduce Falun Gong and raise awareness about the persecution in China. On unfolded information posters the passers-by could see and read stories of people who were persecuted or even tortured to death by the communist regime in China because they practised Falun Gong.

The annual Glasgow West End Festival always attracts a large number of visitors in June every year. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the event this year. When the activities came to an end, the organiser said that it was a pleasure for them to have Falun Gong participating in the festival and it had made the activities more successful.

| Holland: Falun Gong Practitioners Condemn a Chinese Media's Slanderous Report about Falun Gong [27.06.2007] |
Recently some overseas Chinese media, such as Singtao Daily and Sino-Dutch Business, reported a murder case by a person of Chinese descent in Holland. This was originally a tragic murder carried out by a person with mental problems. However the reports from the above Chinese media, from the title to the content, deliberately connected this tragedy with Falun Gong, and even misled the readers that practising Falun Gong would lead to mental problems. |

| Holland: Trial in The Hague - Criminal's Claim to Practise Falun Gong Dismissed as False by Court Experts [26.06.2007] |
In October 2006, a tragedy in which a mental patient of Chinese origin chopped up and cooked his victim’s body took place in Alphen ann de Rijn. The case began at The Hague Court last week and a sentence was expected to be declared on June 22nd. Recently, the media started to follow the case with interest. Without having investigated and verified the case, Singtao Daily, on June 11th, 2007, and China and Holland Business on June 15th, 2007 ,reported that the murderer (G.L.L) had something to do with practising Falun Gong. |

| Russia: Practitioners Raise Awareness about Falun Gong at a Festival in Krasnoyarsk City [26.06.2007] |
On June 10th, 2007, local Falun Gong practitioners took part in a festival in Krasnoyarsk, in the midlands of Russia. Some students demonstrated Falun Gong exercises, which attracted many people’s interest and some passersby wanted to learn the practice straight away. Some practitioners taught people how to make paper lotus flowers while they explained the reasons for the persecution.

Between May 12th and 13th, the city of Sibiu hosted an event to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. Falun Gong practitioners from Romania came from different cities to celebrate, on this special day, the introduction of Falun Gong to the general public in China on May 13th, 1992 and also the birthday of the founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi.

Irish practitioners began a seven day car tour to raise public awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. During the seven day tour, the weather was very unstable, creating difficulties for the team. Nevertheless, the practitioners were determined to complete the project so that more people would learn about the persecution.

Martigny's annual Five Continents Festival presents a trading market of different cultures. In the square of the town centre, many stands were erected like a small forest and lots of passers-by stopped to take a look. As for Falun Gong practitioners, this was a good place to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

Falun Gong practitioners from all over Norway gathered in the country's capital during a music festival in Oslo on Saturday June 2nd, 2007. They took the opportunity to inform local people about the Chinese Communist regime's inhuman trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners, whose bodies are subsequently cremated to destroy evidence of the crime.

| Hungary: Local People Upset by the Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong [23.06.2007] |
To remember practitioners in China who have been persecuted for eight years, Hungarian practitioners held an appeal in Budapest. At a famous tourist attraction, posters were hung to show how much Falun Gong has benefited people in over sixty countries and the various torture methods used during the brutal suppression of the practice.

Practitioners decided to organise another Falun Gong information day in the human rights city of Graz. The last one was held quite some time ago. On June 9th, 2007, the head of the CCP visited Sweden, and came to Gothenburg. In order to call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and remind the public to pay attention to this persecution, Falun Gong practitioners from Denmark and Sweden demonstrated Falun Gong exercises in Gustav Adolfs Torg Square.

Six Falun Gong practitioners travelled to a small town in Norway called Fredrikstad. This little town has a little over seventy thousand inhabitants and is the sixth largest city in Norway. In the hot summer sun the practitioners gathered to let local people know about the atrocities being committed in China under the Communist Party's dictatorship.

On June 16th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners went to Svyatogorsk a famous re-cuperation resort in East Ukraine. They raised awareness about Falun Gong to tourists there and revealed the Chinese Communist Party’s cruel persecution of Falun Gong in China and organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. Many tourists resting on the sands were attracted by the Falun Gong exercise music and came over to see practitioners doing the exercises, read the posters and ask for leaflets. |

In June 2002, during the Chinese state visit to Iceland, Falun Gong practitioners silently appealed to stop the persecution in front of the very person who ordered brainwash, ill-treatment and torture of practitioners, even to death, in China. The brutality is widely documented and details of more that 66 000 thousand cases of torture have been sent to the UN. Since then the persecution has only become worse, and it is still on-going today. Last year it was revealed that the Communist Party already at that time used Falun Gong practitioners as raw material for organ transplants, a profitable and blooming business in China’s public hospitals today. |

During the G8 Summit, Falun Gong practitioners from the Ruhr, Nuremberg and Berlin gathered in Paris Square in front of the Brandenburg Gate, a famous tourist attraction in central Berlin. On the evening of June 8th, 2007, the CCP leader visited Sweden. Some Falun Gong practitioners from Gothenburg participated in the rally held by the Swedish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP near King Square, calling on the Swedish Government and people to pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP.

On June 3rd, 2007, Helsinki's Mits River Festival took place on the banks of the river Mits. Helsinki's Falun Gong practitioners wore yellow T-shirts with the words "Falun Gong is good" and "truthfulness, compassion, forbearance" to introduce Falun Gong to the Finnish people. They rented a stall, prepared materials and folded beautiful paper lotus flowers.

Practitioners submitted materials they had prepared in advance. After carefully listening to what they told him, Mr. Aziz said that he was shocked at the atrocities taking place in China and felt very sad at the persecution Falun Gong practitioners are suffering from. He said, "Anyone who has a conscience cannot remain indifferent in such a situation".

| Czech Republic: Re-enactment of Organ Harvesting at a Rally in Prague [12.06.2007] |
The Confederation of political prisoners and a “T-shirt against Communism” initiative held a rally against Communism on May 1st. The event took place in the Letna Park in Czech capital Prague and attracted thousands of visitors, many of whom signed the petition against organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Despite pouring rain, practitioners in Norway held a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Oslo on June 1st. They demonstrated against organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and at the same time showed their support for the 22 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party.

They distributed leaflets, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, answered people’s questions and collected signatures.

The Finnish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP held an activity to express support for the 22 million withdrawals from the CCP. Many people passing on that day accepted the Epoch Times newspaper's editorial "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and a special issue regarding the 20 million withdrawals from the CCP.

The World Village, which is held once a year in Helsinki, was held in Kaisaniemi Park near the central railway station. Though it was raining heavily on the morning of the 26th and the ground was muddy, people still came with huge interest.

Practitioners from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia organised two events to inform the public on May 12th and 13th, 2007, in the centre of Sarajevo. The people of Sarajevo were given the opportunity to learn the Falun Gong exercises, to talk to practitioners and to read Falun Gong flyers and posters. Moreover, the people of Sarajevo learned about the genocide committed over the last eight years against Falun Gong practitioners in China as well as about the systematic organ removals from living Falun Gong practitioners in labour camps and prisons. |

Vladivostok is a big city in Russia close to the border with China. There are many Chinese tourists in Vladivostok. To raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong to the Chinese people, Falun Gong practitioners have been passing out leaflets at tourist spots for several years.

| Germany: German Federal President Requested to Lodge a Complaint Concerning the Labour Camp System During his Visit to China [31.05.2007] |
German President Horst Koehler was asked to lodge confidently and publicly a complaint concerning human rights during his May 23rd to 26th state visit to the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), encouraged him to include this subject on his agenda, as well as lodge a complaint regarding China's labour camp system.

On Saturday May 26th, 2007, Slovakian practitioners of Falun Gong visited the city of Banovce nad Bebravou in western Slovakia. They set up a petition table with information material and started to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises, attracting a lot of attention. About fifty people signed the petition against the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

| Poland: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Protest in Front of the Parliament During Wu Bangguo's Visit to Warsaw [30.05.2007] |
During the visit of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Politburo Standing Committee Member Wu Bangguo and his party in Warsaw on May 24th, 2007, members of the Polish Parliament invited Falun Gong practitioners to demonstrate when the CCP delegation arrived. Their presence sent an effective message to the CCP officials.

| Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners from the Ex-Soviet Union Protest against Russia’s Illegal Deportation of a UN Refugee [30.05.2007] |
Large numbers of people living in Germany are from the ex-Soviet Union. With Falun Gong spreading, some of them have also started to practise Falun Gong. On May 15th, a group of German Falun Gong practitioners from the ex-Soviet Union submitted a letter of protest to the Russian Consulate in Berlin condemning the second case of forcibly deporting a Falun Gong practitioner with UN refugee status to China. They called on the Russian government not to submit to both economic and political pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and not to serve as an accessory in persecuting Falun Gong. |

| Belgium: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the CCP’s Brutal Persecution [29.05.2007] |
On May 19th, Falun Gong practitioners held activities in the centre of Brussels, the capital of Belgium, to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong and its corruption of morality. The event called for an end to the persecution. Exhibits in this event included graphics of persecuted practitioners as well as a full length French version of the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China, a report published by independent investigators David Kilgour, Canadian MP and former Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific, and David Matas, international human rights lawyer. |

| Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Gather in Berlin to Request a Public EU-China Human Rights Dialog, Vice President of the European Parliament Shows Support [28.05.2007] |
On May 14th, 2007, one day before the European Union and Chinese Communist Party opened their human rights dialog, European Falun Gong practitioners assembled at Pariser Platz, in front of Brandenburger Tor in Berlin to request that the dialog should involve everyone's human rights in China.
