From the 5th to the 12th of November 2006, Bodo City in the northern part of Norway held a week-long “Bodo International Week 2006”. As part of the celebrations, the Language School in Bodo held a series of activities. Performances by Falun Gong practitioners added colour to the school’s International Week and helped to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

On October 28th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Nordhein-Westfalen went to Ratingen, to tell local people about the CCP's trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. When people heard about the atrocity of the CCP extensively imprisoning practitioners and harvesting their organs, they all were astonished and expressed their dismay.

On November 9th, 2006, Copenhagen's 'Quitting the CCP Service Centre', several Epoch Times volunteer workers and Falun Gong practitioners held a rally outside the Chinese Embassy in Copenhagen. The rally was to support the fifteen million brave Chinese people who have renounced the CCP and also to protest against CCP’s illegal detention of human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng.

On the 3rd and 5th of November 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Spain were invited to participate in the annual International Health Expo held in Barcelona, which attracts many visitors from all over the world every year. Many visitors signed a petition condemning the persecution of the practice by the CCP.

The practitioners unfolded two banners in the small square and exhibited photos documenting the persecution happening in China. Several practitioners demonstrated the exercises and the others distributed flyers. People were moved by the gentle exercise music and the beautiful exercises and two children learned the exercises there and then.

Falun Gong practitioners from Gothenburg and nearby areas participated in a Health Fair held on the 14th and 15th of October. This was the 6th year that Falun Gong practitioners were invited by the organisers. A lot of people received information about Falun Gong and asked questions about the persecution started by the Chinese communist regime in 1999. There were also many other participants at the fair who came to our booth and wanted to know more about Falun Gong and the good effects that the practice has on health.

On November 4th, 2006, Russian practitioners came to Kingisepp in St. Petersburg and held activities to introduce local people to Falun Gong and tell them about the persecution of the practice taking place in China. Many passers-by talked to practitioners in order to get to know more about Falun Gong and the local media also conducted interviews with practitioners.

On October 21st and 22nd, Italian practitioners took to the streets of Verona to introduce local people to Falun Dafa and expose the persecution of practitioners taking place in China. Some practitioners set up a table with leaflets and a petition, while others reenacted various torture methods used against practitioners in Chinese labour camps and prisons.

On November 4th 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Munich held activities in the city centre to expose the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners by Chinese Communist party (CCP) institutions. Exasperated by the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities, many kindhearted people signed a petition calling on the German government to take action to put an end to the persecution in China.

On November 4th, the Danish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), volunteers from the Epoch Times Newspaper and Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to support fifteen million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP. The activity was held in the second largest city in Denmark.

The Falun Gong stall was eye-catching and near the stage. People approached the stall to learn about the persecution in China and also about the Falun Gong practice. When they heard about how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has harvested organs from living practitioners to sell for vast profits, they signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.

On October the 28th and 29th, Falun Gong practitioners held a two day activity in Corso Dante in Milan city centre to tell people about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from the living Falun Gong practitioners. Many Italian citizens as well as tourists pass here and it’s a spot that is well visited by Chinese tourists.

On November the 5th, to mark the number of people who have publicly renounced the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) reaching 15 million, the service centre for quitting the CCP and volunteers of the Epoch Times newspaper were joined by Falun Gong practitioners at Helsinki central railway station. They held an event to publicise the news to the Finnish people.

On October 21st and 22nd, a seminar and exhibition in the name of the World Unity Show was held in the People’s Hall in Orebro, Sweden. Upon hearing about the evil CCP's trade in organs harvested from live Falun Gong practitioners, one after another they signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.

On October 21st and 22nd, 2006, Italian Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the “Autumn Festival” activities in Cavriglia Township. With help from the Deputy Mayor and other city government officials, Falun Gong practitioners set up their booth at the best location in the square in the downtown area. The number of visitors was extremely large.

During a health tradeshow in one of the large shopping centres in Bremen, German Falun Gong practitioners introduced the benefits of Falun Dafa, most importantly its outstanding effect on human health. Visitors had a chance to learn about an exercise practice that is distinctively different from the well-known qigong schools.

Many passers-by stood in shock at the images on the display board depicting various torture methods used on practitioners in China. Having read the details they would naturally take the initiative to sign one of the petitions to stop the persecution which will eventually be sent to the UK government to urge the Chinese Communist Party to stop their illegal acts.

On November 1st 2006, Hungarian practitioners gathered at Blaha Lujza Square in Budapest to let people know about the Falun Dafa practitioners being persecuted in China. They displayed posters, handed out flyers, collected petition signatures and talked to passerbys. Pointing to the posters, a man said: “I can’t believe this is still happening in the 21st century!”

The week-long car tour to raise awareness about the persecution against Falun Gong travelled around nine states and passed through many cities, villages, world-renowned tourist attractions, and ski resorts. As a result of the tour, many Austrian people and foreign tourists have learned about practitioners being cruelly persecuted in China.

On October 28th and 29th, 2006, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Liljeholm Square in the suburbs of Stockholm to promote Falun Gong and explain the facts about the cultivation practice. Regardless of the chilly wind, they demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises to traditional-style Chinese exercise music.

It was a beautiful and sunny late summer day. Numerous people were on the streets and many accepted our flyers gladly and also read the information detailing the persecution of Falun Gong in China, the grave human rights violations and torture, as well as about the organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners. We saw a diverse group of people, also from other countries, with whom we held deep discussions. Many were rather interested and we found that the majority had not heard or heard very little about the seriousness of the crimes perpetrated in China.

Practitioners came from far and wide to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China to the people in Göttingen. Falun Dafa practitioners from Bremen, Bielefeld, Hannover, Kassel und Göttingen travelled to the activity to expose together the organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners, as well as the cruel persecution. Many people wanted to listen to the truth.

On October 20th, leaders from the 25 member countries of the European Union held an informal meeting in Lahti. In the evening, Russian President Putin joined the other leaders. Taking this opportunity, some Helsinki practitioners came to the city to expose the persecution of Falun Gong and the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting to the general public.

On October 13th and 14th, 2006, Scottish Falun Gong practitioners came to Purse during an SNP congress to expose the Chinese Communist Party's trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners hung up banners reading "Stop organ harvesting in Chinese concentration camps", and distributed leaflets beside the main entrance to the congress hall. Many congress participants said they learnt about the issue from BBC news a few weeks ago.

Falun Gong practitioners visit Amnesty International student society every year. At the beginning of October 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held a seminar, at which they gave a presentation to the students regarding an independent investigation report of live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)

On Saturday October 21st, much interest was shown in what goes on in China’s slave labour camps, concentration camps and hospitals, along the long pedestrian zone in Münster. Passersby watched the torture re-enactments and accepted our flyers. We were so busy that the day passed quickly. Many people thanked us for the information we gave them.

One special thing about the State Language University Choir is that they sing in many languages. Musical works by many composers were played, but the focus of this concert was a Chinese song entitled Coming for You, which was composed by a Falun Gong practitioner. One member of the choir is a Falun Gong practitioner and all the other members of the choir know about Falun Gong and the ruthless persecution of the practice in China.

On October 21st, 2006, in Heerlen in Holland, Falun Gong practitioners held a demonstration disclosing the CCP's trade in organs harvested from live Falun Gong practitioners. They set up a picture exhibition exposing how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners by torturing them. One after another, shoppers and passersby signed practitioners' petition calling on the Dutch government to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP.

On September 8th, 2006, David Matas, the prestigious Canadian lawyer who co-authored the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China arrived in Denmark for a visit. A press conference was hosted in the parliament building to expose organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.

From October 19th until the end of the week, in a few cities in Eastern Slovakia there took place a series of activities to support the human rights of people who are persecuted in China because they practise Falun Gong. During these few days more then six hundred signatures were collected and in Presov some young children wanted to help distribute flyers.

Falun Gong practitioners were invited to take part in “Wellbeing Day” held by the Hallunda community in Stockholm. People crowded the booth. Practitioners demonstrating the exercises and explained to people outside the hall that Falun Gong is a genuine path of self-cultivation and benevolence. The person in charge of the exposition appreciated our presence.

An information day like this one is held on Paradepaltz in Zurich at least once a month. Each time, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrate the five sets of exercises to beautiful and peaceful music, attracting many passers-by. One after another they stop and enjoy the demonstration and want to know why people are practising the exercises here.

The human rights dialogue between the EU and China will take place in Beijing soon. On October 14th, 2006, practitioners in Finland gathered again at Helsinki train station in order to expose the truth about the cruel persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime, especially the atrocity of illegal organ harvesting from living practitioners.

On Saturday October 14th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Aachen to introduce this traditional spiritual practice to local people and expose the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners carried out by the Chinese Communist Party, in particular the trade in organs harvested from living practitioners.

Practitioners took to the streets of Galway in a bid to expose the atrocities of illegal organ harvesting from living practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party. The campaign was enthusiastically supported by local residents. People who understood the truth came forth one after another, and waited to give their signatures to condemn the cruel persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Nuremberg, a prominent city for human rights, and distributed leaflets and talked with people throughout the day. A notable difference was the way overseas Chinese people approached us to learn Falun Gong's side of the story. Some even took leaflets and other material. Such situations were rarely seen one or two years before.

The week long “Lotus-Peace Tour” took four practitioners of Falun Gong through nine Austrian provinces to alert Austrians to the suffering of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Those who practise this peaceful cultivation way have been brutally persecuted in China since 1999. Torture and abuse are daily occurrences in slave labour camps and practitioners' organs are harvested for sale.

During the CHINA TIME event, which celebrated the partnership between Hamburg and Shanghai and took place between September 13th and October 1st, practitioners held activities to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China. People stopped to find out was going on, ask questions and sign a petition condemning the persecution.

Four Falun Gong Practitioners embarked on a week long “Lotus Peace Tour” through all nine of Austria’s provinces, in order to raise awareness among Austrians about the suffering of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Since 1999, everyone who wants to practice this form of Buddha School Qigong in China is being persecuted.

Shops in Germany are closed on Sunday, but during the Kirta Festival in Cham they are open as usual and people flock the streets. Every year, the person who organises activities keeps a booth for Falun Gong practitioners free of charge and tries to leave a good position for practitioners so that people can get to know the facts of the persecution happening now in China.

Arhangersk is located in northern Russia. September 9th, 2006, was 'city day' in Arhangersk. It was raining in the early morning, but when Falun Gong practitioners began activities to introduce Falun Dafa to local people and expose the persecution taking place in China, the dark clouds dispersed and the bright sun came out.

There are a number of small Falun Gong exercise groups in some of Nordhrhein Westfalen’s cities. We all met on German Unification Day 2006 to practice the exercises together as one large group. We chose a central location in the state capital Düsseldorf. Cornelius Square and the Königsallee Kings Avenue presented a beautiful green space. We also erected a small booth.

“Everyone knows the Chinese communist regime is an autocratic one. What I understand from these paintings and the testimony of this lady makes me feel uneasy. We should not forgive the persecution inflicted upon any form of belief or cultivation which should respect one. We have no right to infringe on others. Regardless of men, women or children, their bodies should not be infringed on. As a mother and grandmother. I cannot help but think of my own children and other children after seeing this persecution. History always repeats itself. I just wonder whether one day people would truly understand that we need to think carefully about this persecution no matter whether it occurs today or in the future.”

In October 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Nordrhein-Westfalen once again disclosed the CCP’s atrocities of persecuting Falun Gong to people on the busiest high streets in Cologne. When collecting signatures, people signed without hesitation upon hearing it is to protest against the CCP harvesting and trading Falun Gong practitioners’ organs.

"On July 6th, 2006, David Matas and David Kilgour, both Canadian lawyers, published their ‘Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China’ following an independent investigation they carried out into the very disturbing stories leaking out of China that allegedly state institutions in the People’s Republic of China have been harvesting human organs from innocent unconsenting live Falun Gong Practitioners and killing the practitioners in the process by extra-judicial executions during the organ removal process."

On October 14th and 15th, 2006, Finnish Falun Gong practitioners returned to an annual Health and Knowledge Expo held in Helsinki, to introduce Falun Dafa and tell people about the persecution of practitioners in China. Many visitors signed a petition for collecting signatures to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and condemn the CCP's atrocities.

We were positioned in the major shopping district of Stuttgart and thousands of passersby were able to see our display. We got the impression that people lingered longer than usual to get more information. People came from all age groups and backgrounds came to ask questions, receive fliers and support us by signing our petition.

In the last two years, many locals in Mersin City have begun to practise Falun Gong. They try to live their lives by the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.” Many of the practitioners have undergone great physical and mental changes since beginning their cultivation.

On October 7th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Leipzig, Berlin, and Dresden held an Information Day in Railway Square, the busiest place in Leipzig. It had the theme, “Stop the Persecution, Stop Organ Harvesting”. Many shoppers stopped in their tracks to read the information boards and the leaflets being handed out.

Finnish Falun Gong practitioners and volunteers from the Service Centre for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), as well as The Epoch Times newspaper held activities in front of the Central Train Station in Helsinki to support the fourteen million withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organisations and to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
