Holland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution with Picture Exhibitions in City Centres [04.04.2006]

Dutch practitioners have been using their Saturdays to hold picture exhibitions in the Dordrecht, Den Bosch and Zutphen city centres to expose the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, calling for support and collecting petition signatures to support suing former Chinese Communist regime leader Jiang Zemin, who is responsible for launching the persecution.

Slovak Republic: Truth-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition in Bratislava [27.03.2006]

On Tuesday February 21st, in the House of Culture in Vajnorska Street, the Truth-Compassion-Tolerance art exhibition opened. The director of House of Culture attended the opening ceremony. One of the organisers guided visitors through the exhibition and introduced them more thoroughly to individual pictures, artists and themes.

Ireland: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution at the International Body, Mind and Spirit Exhibition [26.03.2006]

For three days practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and performed some traditional Chinese-style dances such as the Lotus Flower Dance. In addition, they explained to the audience about what Falun Gong is and the continuing persecution, which has been going on for nearly seven years.

France: Paris Gala Makes People Proud to be Chinese [04.03.2006]

This Gala awakened Chinese peoples’ memories of traditional culture and made them feel proud to see such a magnificent performance by their fellow countrymen. This type of display of traditional culture has been banished from its home in China since the Communist Party snatched power there over half a century ago.

Germany: A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words [26.02.2006]

On Saturday February 3rd, 2006, in Ludwigshafen, a town on the banks of the River Rhine, Falun Gong practitioners gathered to tell local people about Falun Gong and the inhumane persecution that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in China. Falun Gong practitioners set up their information desk and a poster display on the pedestrian street.

Russia: Journey of Fa-Rectification Photo Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod [18.02.2006]

The Journey of Fa-Rectification Photo Exhibition was held in Nizhny Novgorod from February 3rd to 13th. More than forty photos introduced the story of Falun Gong. A stream of people went to visit the exhibition and learned about Falun Gong’s history as it spread to over seventy countries. People also learned how to fold paper lotus flowers.

Czech Republic: Exhibition Presents the Creative Works of the Persecuted [08.02.2006]

Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. That’s the title of the exhibition on show at the Kralovopolska Gallery in Husitska Street. It’s an exhibition of paintings by Chinese and western artists, all of whom are practitioners of Falun Gong.

Finland: Falun Gong Photo Exhibition Tours Lapland (Part 4) [29.01.2006]

In spring 2005, we contacted several libraries in Lapland and made enquiries about holding a Falun Gong photo exhibition. Most people knew about Falun Gong already and even those who didn’t were interested to hold the exhibition and find out more. Because of the great interest we continued to hold the photo exhibition in late autumn.

Ukraine: Painting Exhibition in a Small Farming Village [25.01.2006]

Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners held a painting exhibition in a small farming village from January 20th to the 22nd. They introduced to the villagers the rapid spread of Falun Gong throughout the world and the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese communist regime in China. Paintings by practitioners were on display in the exhibition.

Latvia: Truth, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition Held in Riga [19.01.2006]

"Thank you Falun Gong practitioners for organising such a beautiful art exhibition. There are around a hundred million practitioners all over the world peacefully practising Falun Gong and following the principles of Truth, Compassion, Tolerance. There is a brutal persecution going on in China ... "

Scotland: Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition Appreciated by the People of Glasgow [17.01.2006]

From the 4th to the 14th of January, 2006, the Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Fine Art Exhibition was held in Hillhead library, Glasgow, Scotland. On display were a total of twelve paintings. Over the course of ten days the paintings touched many people's hearts and allowed people to understand the truth about Falun Gong on a deeper level.

Italy: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Florence during the Christmas Holidays [05.01.2006]

Many tourists from various countries accepted leaflets. After hearing the facts about Falun Gong, they came to sign the petition one after another to show their support for Falun Dafa and the persecuted practitioners. People were outraged by the fact that such a peaceful cultivation practice is oppressed by the Chinese dictatorial regime.

Italy: Torino Residents Condemn the Persecution [27.12.2005]

Italian practitioners recently held an anti-torture exhibition at the Torino city centre to expose the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Torino is one of the largest and most famous Italian cities, and will host the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in February 2006. As soon as practitioners set up their anti-torture exhibition photos, they were surrounded by people who asked questions in succession. They all wanted to know why the peaceful Falun Dafa practitioners would be subjected to such an inhumane persecution.

Norway: Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition held in Oslo [25.12.2005]

On the 2nd of November, the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition opened in downtown Oslo. The exhibition had previously been shown in many cities all over the world. The exhibition was arranged by the Network for Human Rights in China and a representative welcomed the guests to the opening ceremony.

Ireland: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition in Dublin Warmly Welcomed [17.12.2005]

The "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition was successfully held in the Tallaght Institute of Technology in south Dublin between the 5th and 9th of December 2005. The deputy mayor of South Dublin County Karen Warren attended the opening as did Councillor John Hannon, who made an excellent speech.

Switzerland: International Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition Goes on Show in Dulliken [06.12.2005]

Some of the artists in the exhibition were victims of the persecution. The pieces they produced depicted some of their experiences. Although some of the art work depicted torture and brutalities, every one of the paintings contains a sincere hope for an end to the persecution and a message that Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance will survive.

November 2005

Germany: Travelling Exhibition “Fields of Shame” Shown in Hannover [29.11.2005]

Two groups of Falun Gong practitioners collected petition signatures during the afternoon for two petitions: one petition demanded that the instigator of the persecution against Falun Gong, Jiang Zemin, be brought to justice in a court of law for his crimes; the other petition demanded the return to Germany of Jiang Renzheng and his family.

Germany: Exposing the Persecution Against Falun Gong to People in the Business World [24.11.2005]

German practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in front of Siemens headquarters before President Hu’s visit. The purpose was to show employees what Falun Gong is, the persecution Falun Gong practitioners have been suffering in China and why the Chinese Communist regime has committed the crime of genocide against Falun Gong. The practitioners tried to awaken people’s sense of justice and called upon them to help stop the persecution.

Germany: Anti-torture Exhibition Toured Government Buildings [22.11.2005]

Before President Hu’s visit to Germany, practitioners toured government buildings with an anti-torture exhibition to let the staff know about the persecution. By November 2nd, the anti-torture exhibition had visited the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Ministry of Domestic Affairs, the Presidential Palace and the headquarters of political party CDU.

Germany: Human Rights Picture Exhibition ‘Field of Shame’ held in Germany [15.11.2005]

From October the 26th to the 31st, international human rights organization IGFM held a human rights persecution picture exhibition entitled “Field of Shame” which was displayed in Nord-Rhein Westfalen, Dusseldorf and Gelsenkirchen. Pictures and articles about Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China were part of this exhibition, which was held on the eve of Chinese Communist Party leader Hu Jintao’s visit to Germany.

Italy: Italian Media Pays Attention to “Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance” International Art Exhibition [14.11.2005]

"Italian Falun Gong practitioners decided to hold an art exhibition in a hall in Andorno...The paintings are of great delicacy and beauty. Through their artistic creations the artists attempted to illustrate a spiritual world: goodness and beauty of a heavenly world can be pursued through meditation and upgrading one’s inner world. Artists used techniques of realism to depict the brutality of torture and the suffering inflicted on the persecuted by Jiang Zemin."

Sweden: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition Brings Brilliance to the Night of Culture in Gothenburg [29.10.2005]

On the evening of October 14th 2005, Gothenburg held its annual "Night of Culture". As part of the festivities, the “Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance” International Art Exhibition was held in Hauchia Church and drew the attention of a great number of people. The paintings in the exhibition were created by a group of artists that practise Falun Gong.

Holland: Anti-Torture Exhibition at the City Hall Square in The Hague [25.10.2005]

The 1st of October was the 56th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) tyrannical control over China. On that day, Falun Gong practitioners from Holland and Belgium held an anti-torture exhibition. They collected petition signatures from people who wanted to express support for bringing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

Belgium: Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance International Art Exhibition Held in Riemst [24.10.2005]

"This art exhibition should tour around the whole world. Let people be aware of all this which is still happening in China ... I found out that, nowadays, western society has developed many relationships with China in respect to the economy. They want to earn money. However, they do not see the human rights aspect and this is very dangerous."

Ireland: "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition" in Dublin’s Trinity College [20.10.2005]

The exhibition displayed forty paintings created by artists who practise Falun Gong in different countries. People got to learn about Falun Gong from a different angle and see the brutality of the Chinese Communist Party. They asked many questions and wanted to know how to help Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China.

Belgium: Practitioners in Antwerp Expose the Brutality of the Persecution of Falun Gong with an Anti-Torture Exhibition [14.09.2005]

Falun Gong Practitioners from Belgium and Holland held a live anti-torture exhibition in Antwerp to expose six long years of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) against Falun Gong practitioners. Anti-torture exhibitions consist of practitioners acting out some of the brutal methods of torture used against their fellow practitioners in China.

August 2005

Finland: Anti-torture Exhibition in Helsinki during the World Track and Field Championships [25.08.2005]

On August 12th, the World Track and Field Championship Tournament took place in Helsinki. Falun Gong practitioners held a live anti-torture exhibition to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution against Falun Gong, a persecution that was launched by former CCP leader Jiang Zemin.

United Kingdom: The Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition was held at St. Martin-in-the-Fields [11.08.2005]

Practitioners distributed two thousand flyers outside the building where the exhibition was held. A lot of people came to appreciate the paintings because of this. One gentleman came to see the exhibition from London's west end. He learned about the exhibition from the leaflet he got in front of the Tate Museum, where practitioners held activities on the 20th of July.

The People of Cambridge Voice their Opposition to the CCP’s Persecution at an Exhibition [06.08.2005]

The posters explained the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) slaughter of millions of citizens through treacherous campaigns to 'cleanse' and instill fearful obedience. Falun Gong practitioners helped set up this exhibition as they felt it helps people understand why the CCP commits genocide against people who practise Falun Gong.

Italy: Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong in the City of Milan [04.08.2005]

Italian practitioners organised an anti-torture exhibition, exposing the crimes of genocide committed by the Chinese Communist regime (CCP) against Falun Gong and raising awareness of the six years of persecution in China. Some said that in persecuting Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, the CCP exposed its terrorist nature.

Sweden: The Second Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition was Very Successful [04.08.2005]

An older man took a tour of the exhibition and said loudly, “All these paintings are magnificent, noble and expressive. I’ve been to the most renowned museums in the world. However, this is one of the most impressive collections I’ve ever seen. This is the best kind of art one can see. I will recommend this to my friends, and I’ll be back as well.”

Germany: People were Shocked by the Anti-Torture Exhibition at Cologne Cathedral [03.08.2005]

By July 20th of this year, it had already been six years since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Jiang Zemin colluded with one another to persecute Falun Gong. In order to let more people know about Falun Gong and to call for support to end the persecution soon, Falun Gong practitioners from Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany held an anti-torture exhibition.

July 2005

Finland: Falun Gong Photo Exhibition Tours Lapland (Part II) [31.07.2005]

From this photo exhibition the viewer could learn about the history of Falun Gong and that it was the former Chinese president Jiang Zemin's communist regime that launched a persecution campaign against Falun Gong in China in July 1999. This is now six years ago. ongoing persecution has destroyed countless Chinese people’s lives.

Holland: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Utrecht Commemorates Six Years of Persecution [30.07.2005]

In order to protest that the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has lasted for six years and to call for an immediate end to the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners from Holland and Belgium held an anti-torture exhibition in Utrecht in the central part of Holland. Many people came to talk with the practitioners and find out more.

France: The People of Rouen were Touched by an Anti-torture Exhibition [26.07.2005]

On July 8th, Falun Gong practitioners visited Rouen. They set up a stall in the city centre opposite various elegantly designed buildings and held an anti-torture exhibition where they simulated a few of the many torture methods that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) uses in its attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs.

Denmark: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Copenhagen to Commemorate Six Years of Persecution [23.07.2005]

On July 20th six years ago, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Jiang Zemin initiated a brutal campaign of persecution against Falun Gong. On the 16th of July, Falun Gong practitioners from Denmark and Sweden went to the largest square in Copenhagen, Kongens Nytorv, to expose the on-going campaign of genocide against Falun Gong in China.

Spain: People in Toledo, the Former Spanish Capital, Support Falun Gong [13.07.2005]

Spanish Falun Gong practitioners visited this ancient city for the sixth time. However, this was the first time that the anti-torture exhibition, featuring simulations of some of the evil methods that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) uses in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs, had been seen in Toledo. Many people signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.

Finland: Finnish People Support Falun Gong Practitioners [12.07.2005]

A group of Falun Gong practitioners from Finland, Sweden, Germany and Russia organised a ten day long ant-torture exhibition tour around five cities across Finland. On the 22nd and 23rd of June, the group arrived at the final stop, the city of Lahti. Kind-hearted people expressed their sympathy and support to Falun Gong practitioners in various ways.

Czech Republic: Prague Anti-torture Exhibition Helped People Learn about the Persecution in China [11.07.2005]

Practitioners got a lot of attention from the corwd as they acted out scenes from prisons and labour camps in China where officials abuse and torture Falun Gong practitioners using a variety of methods, such as shocking with electric batons, sleep deprivation and being forced to remain in a tiny cage where it is impossible to stand or lie down for long periods of time.

Belgium: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition Successfully Held in the European Parliament [09.07.2005]

On the 28th of June, the “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” International Art Exhibition opened in European Parliament. The exhibition was warmly supported by MEP Mr Pannella. Many European Parliament officials and staff members came to congratulate the organisers of the exhibition, and thanked us for bringing these excellent art works to the Parliament.

Finland: Anti-Torture Exhibition Exposes the Truth about China’s State Terrorism (Part 2 — Jyväskylä) [07.07.2005]

Practitioners held an anti-torture exhibit in Jyväskylä on the 18th and 19th of June 2005. The exhibition exposed the brutal human rights abuses that Falun Gong practitioners have been the victim of for almost six year. The peaceful Falun Gong exercises were also demonstrated to the public. Throughout the day, many people come forward to say, “You are doing the right thing”.

Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners hold Activities on UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture [07.07.2005]

On the 26th of June 2005, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Pjatigorsk city centre. Banners and leaflets exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution against Falun Gong over the last six years. In four hours, 1,300 leaflets were distributed. People were sympathetic after hearing about the persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners.

Russia: Anti-torture Exhibition Touches Moscow People [06.07.2005]

On June the 26th, World Anti-Torture Day, Moscow Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition on the square in front of the Moscow Art Gallery. They used display boards and simulated some of the countless forms of torture used by the Chinese authorities in cruel attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs.

Germany: Anti-Torture Exhibition at Cologne Cathedral [05.07.2005]

Practitioners from Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany held an anti-torture exhibition in front of Cologne Cathedral to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution against Falun Gong. An anti-torture exhibition involves re-enactments of the torture methods used in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs.

Finland: Anti-Torture Exhibition Exposes the Truth about China’s State Terrorism (Part 1 — Tampere) [02.07.2005]

The anti-torture exhibition began its tour in Tampere. Practitioners from Finland, Sweden and Germany took part. Practitioners informed the people about the persecution in many cities like Tampere, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Helsinki and Turku. Many Finnish people joined the worldwide voice to end this persecution by signing a petition.

United Kingdom: Stories from the Cambridge "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" International Art Exhibition [02.07.2005]

Jane Nicolas, the administrator of the church, said, “This art exhibition has proven to be very attractive and its contents are very rich. Persecution and torture of any group or individual is fundamentally wrong. As Christians, it is our responsibility to support the people of every nation in their effort to expose and condemn all violence.”

Sweden: Calling for an End to the Persecution with an Anti-Torture Exhibition in Stockholm [01.07.2005]

Practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition to expose the brutal methods of persecution used against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. The practitioners hoped to encourage public support for an end to these human rights abuses against people who only want to peacefully practise their exercises and live their lives by the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance.

June 2005

Sweden: Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition held in Stockholm [28.06.2005]

On the 9th of June 2005 the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Arts Exhibition opened in a gallery in Sweden's capital city of Stockholm. A message of support from a Swedish politician was read followed by an opening speech. The Stockholm exhibition marked a successful start for the exhibition’s forthcoming tour of Nordic countries.

Sweden: Anti-torture Exhibition in Lund City [27.06.2005]

On June 4th, practitioners from Malmo and Lund in southern Sweden, along with practitioners from Copenhagen in Denmark, went to Medan square in Lund to hold an anti-torture exhibition. Before the scheduled activity started, it was cloudy and raining. Practitioners set up display boards and about twenty minutes later, the sun came out.

Switzerland: Anti-Torture Exhibition during a Parliament Meeting [22.06.2005]

On 8th June, a Swiss Parliament meeting was held and Falun Gong practitioners held another anti-torture exhibition and collected signatures in the busy streets. The persecution of Falun Gong in Mainland China got a lot worse recently, so Falun Gong practitioners urged the parliament members gathered in Bern to do all they can to help stop the persecution.
