Practitioners held an art and literature exhibition to display artwork by Dafa practitioners. This was to display the goodness of Falun Dafa and to reveal the truth about the persecution in China to the local citizens. Reporters from the local TV station “Slavic” also came to the exhibition to carry out interviews.

A photo exhibition to expose Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin’s crimes of genocide was held outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The head of the Chinese Department of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs came downstairs especially to accept a letter from Dafa practitioners and a petition signed by German citizens.

At the exhibition hall, there were also some informative free Video-CDs and leaflets for visitors to take, as well as the compilation “The Falun Gong Report”, an annual publication detailing the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners through describing individual human rights violations affecting women, the elderly and children.

A lot of Chinese tourists accepted Dafa materials. They were surprised to see Falun Dafa practitioners in Germany. The flyers, in more than 20 languages, did not last long. After seeing the banners and listening to practitioners reveal the extent of Jiang crimes against humanity, many people said, “We all know what a dictator is – he is just like this!”

September 9th was the day when the German president visited China. It was also the day when students from all over Germany who performed well in their examinations were invited to the Presidential Palace. This gave practitioners the opportunity to reveal the extent of the persecution in China and tell more people about the lawsuit against Jiang.

Practitioners hoped that this event could help people learn more about Falun Dafa and the brutal persecution that is happening in China. One could also view the work of Australian painter and practitioner Zhang Cuiying, and learn about her suffering in Chinese labour camps because she practised Falun Gong and lived by the principles of Truthfulness, Kindness, Tolerance.

Visitors were shocked to see the persecution facts exposed in these photos and posters. After viewing the exhibits, many people took the initiative to sign a petition requesting an immediate end to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, who believe in "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance".

As part of the Global Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, a picture exhibition depicting Jiang’s crimes of genocide was held in Irlandgen, Germany. The dates of the picture exhibition coincided with the election of state senators. Many Chinese people were also in the city, at Siemens Hi-Tec Training Base.

Many passers-by signed the petition after viewing the exhibition boards. The shocking truth of this persecution is becoming known to more and more people and giving them the chance to appeal for an end to the violence and the violations of human rights and freedom of belief, and to bring the dictator Jiang Zemin to justice.

During the exhibition, one Dafa practitioner from another Russian city accidentally stumbled across the exhibition. He attained Dafa two years ago and has been practising Falun Gong at home by himself. He has been searching for fellow practitioners for a long time, and today his wish was fulfilled. Practitioners realised that nothing is a coincidence.

Practitioners from Kiev, Cherkass, Uzhgorod and Sambor travelled to Lviv to hold a Falun Dafa photo exhibition. They invited local officials, media and the public to come and find out more about Falun Dafa and stand on the side of justice by opposing the Jiang regime’s persecution. With pure thoughts in the practitioners’ hearts, no difficulties could stop them.

The public were very interested in our exhibition and in learning more about Falun Gong. People were surprised and happy to hear that Jiang Zemin will be taken to court for genocide against Falun Gong. It seemed that a lot of people felt relief after reading our banner stating that he Chinese dictator is to face court action; they gladly took our flyers.

Many wanted to talk with practitioners, wanted to have more materials and were also interested in reading the book Falun Gong, the introductory text of Falun Gong. People from the adjoining stalls came to thank practitioners and told them that they were very moved by seeing the exercises.

After attending the exhibition, some people contacted the local practice site to learn the exercises. Practitioners have been invited to clubs and schools to deliver speeches. People from all walks of life have learnt more about the benefits of practising Falun Dafa and the evil nature of the Jiang regime’s persecution of millions of practitioners who only want to be good people.

The organiser congratulated the practitioners on how well they had arranged the event. She enjoyed the Falun Gong exercises very much and commented “I need this. It is so relaxed!” The organiser told us that we could leave Falun Gong materials and a petition on a table in the exhibition room. “You can come whenever you want to sit at the table and tell visitors about Falun Gong.”

Zhang Cuiying was welcomed to the Warsaw School of Journalism by the Dean, an audience of journalism students and members of the media who expressed admiration at her paintings and eagerly took part in a discussion. The Dean also spoke and in his speech he concluded with a touching salute to the artist and her personal story. He expressed hope that one day soon Falun Gong in China will be free from persecution.

The exhibition attracted many people, including the Manager who was so touched by the paintings that he provided an extra area of the exhibition hall for free. He also invited a Professor of Philosophy to play classical music to add to the peaceful atmosphere, who expressed an interest in learning the exercises and asked about the books as though he had found a brand new field of thought.

During the two-day event, people came to a deeper understanding about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong through the painter’s works and her personal experiences of brutal suffering whilst wrongly imprisoned in China. At the press conference, practitioners introduced Falun Gong and demonstrated the exercises for the reporters. Some reporters requested information for their colleagues.

A Czech TV station sent a camera crew to film the exhibition preparation and this footage was shown as part of an interview with the artist. During the interview, footage of the Jiang regime’s state terrorism against Falun Gong practitioners was shown. This was broadcast nationwide on the Czech Republic’s main television channel.

Many people were deeply touched by Cuiying’s paintings and her personal story of suffering in Chinese jails for 8 months because of her practice of Falun Gong. Visitors to the exhibition sat down and keenly watched the Falun Dafa videos that exposed the facts of the persecution. A Hungarian television crew were at the exhibition. They were also deeply moved by Cuiying’s artwork.

Throughout this week, Dafa practitioner Zhang Cuiying is holding a painting exhibition in Slovakia...Many people express hope that the exhibition would last longer, so that more people could see the beautiful pictures and learn about Falun Gong.

Many people took their time to look carefully at the exhibition and admired the inner beauty of the paintings. One of the visitors at the opening ceremony was the Bratislavan Vice-Minister of Culture. After he was given one of Zhang Cuiying’s paintings, he declared that it is so beautiful that he will make it available for everyone to see in the city gallery.

Practitioners showed the librarian a beautiful red banner reading “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance”. The librarian liked the banner a lot and asked if it could be hung from the ceiling for everyone to see, commenting, "That is exactly what we need now!" Through this exhibition, many people got the chance to learn more about the practice of Falun Dafa. They also got to see the truth behind the lies spread by the Jiang regime.

Zhang CuiYing's art exhibition officially opened in Sofia on April 7th and the Bulgarian media took a close interest. After interviewing the artist, one TV reporter said “The world needs ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,’ and so does everyone else.” The TV station invited Zhang Cuiying to participate in a special feature programme on Falun Gong.

Practitioners giving out materials were asked many questions. They used this opportunity to tell people about the popularity of Falun Dafa in over 60 countries, the relationship between cultivation, morality and health, and the truth behind the persecution by the Jiang regime. People were shocked by the brutality of what is happening to practitioners in China.

The national Ukrainian news agency in Kiev held a press conference, where the artist told the media that she has received support for her exhibitions in more than 30 countries. After the press conference, many reporters expressed their interest in getting to know more about Falun Gong. Many TV stations featured several reports on the painting exhibition.

Artist and Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Cuiying was recently invited to Bucharest, the capital of Romania, to display her paintings at a city centre theatre. Two hours before the opening ceremony, a representative from the Chinese Embassy and a few other Chinese men came to the exhibition hall. They rudely made a lot of noise and trouble, trying to stop the exhibition from taking place. When they found that their own illegal deeds were being videotaped, they felt guilty and frightened, and tried to grab the video camera. At this time, the representative from the Chinese Embassy revealed his true violent self.

Some people from Amnesty International sat at the table next to us, so we used this chance to tell them about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. They were very happy and interested to learn more. We also used the opportunity to tell the facts about the persecution and how Falun Gong has spread to over sixty countries to a Chinese person who attended the exhibition.

Five media reporters attended the opening of the exhibition. Many visitors made many kind comments. One visitor said, “Thank you for coming to the Ukraine, your art brings joy to the people here. Your paintings bring love and warmth. We wish you health, happiness and continued success with your future artwork.”

On March 5, Zhang Cui Ying, an Australian Falun Gong practitioner and a painter, was officially invited to hold a three-day Art exhibition in Riga, Latvia...Several newspapers, a magazine for women as well as the local radio station interviewed Ms. Zhang...The governor of the police headquarters also made a special visit.

During the four days, the Falun Gong display stand was the most popular. Over 15,000 visitors came to the stand and practitioners handed out around 8,000 leaflets and over 300 Video-CDs. Overall, throughout the activities practitioners introduced Dafa to more people and were delighted to see the audience understanding the truth.

People who saw the paintings said that they felt that the exhibition had a vibrant spirit. Many people left their comments afterwards, like “I am glad to see an ambassador of ancient Chinese culture in our country..” and “It is excellent to see a brilliant oriental artist in Estonia, and it is a joy for us”

Many of the people at the fair were particularly interested in Falun Gong and asked about the local practice sites where they can learn the exercises free-of-charge. During the course of the day, the environment became more and more tranquil and peaceful.

The information day was most successful. We demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises every hour. Many people took the leaflets and Video-CDs, and showed an understanding of Falun Gong and the persecution occurring in China. Many Chinese who were passing were very glad to accept the materials.

Before the final group performance, we expressed a hope that the spectators had enjoyed our presentation and that it had helped them feel the grace and peace of this traditional and spiritual meditation practice. On behalf of all Falun Gong practitioners everywhere, we wished them a Happy Chinese New Year and a bright and happy future!

One Chinese person who had been engaged in human rights work in the past, said from his heart, “I experienced a lot in my life. I have been in jail several times. And I have not wept like this for a long time. During the human rights conference in Geneva last year, when I saw so many Falun Gong practitioners sitting in meditation, I could not hold back my tears. What I really want to say is, ‘Falun Dafa is good!’”

Over one hundred VIPs were invited by the mayor of Athens to attend the exhibition. President of the famous Andrea Lendtakis Foundation and former vice mayor of Athens, Mrs. Eifi Lendtakis, said in her speech: “I had come to know some time ago about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. Today, I have had the chance to talk to Zhang Cuiying directly and this makes me even more determined to continue my work for human rights.”

“I had a feeling that I was seeking something for many years, but I didn’t know what it was. At the beginning, I thought that it was a fitness method relating to my physical condition, but afterwards I found that it was not so. I tried to learn Tai Chi, qigong and yoga - however, they were not what I wanted. After attending the Falun Gong class once, I immediately realised that this was what I had been looking for.”

The Cambridge Central Library is always very supportive of Falun Gong. It has conducted a number of exhibitions related to Falun Gong, including the "Journey of Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition" and the "Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day Photo Exhibition".

Three weeks before Christmas 2002, practitioners in the German city of Veitshöchheim held a Falun Gong photo exhibition with help and support from the city’s Mayor and the Ministry of Culture. The practitioners were pleased to see that more people had learned the truth about Falun Dafa through the photo exhibition and were able to see through the lies and deceitful propaganda that the Jiang regime has spread all over the world through their state-controlled media.

Practitioners hope that it will allow more people to learn about the practice of Falun Dafa that has already benefited 100 million in almost 60 countries. The board also reveals how Jiang's regime have persecuted Falun Gong, brutally murdering over 540 practitioners and beating and torturing thousands more.

On December 4,2002, The Main News (Germany) reported that a photo exhibition held in Veitshchheim attracted many people’s attention to Falun Gong, a traditional Chinese meditation practice. They also reported that it raised awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, which has already caused the murder of over 500 innocent practitioners.

From 6th to 8th of December in Warsaw, Poland, practitioners from the Ukraine, Sweden, USA and Poland took part in various activities. We held several peaceful appeals at the Chinese embassy, distributed materials in downtown Warsaw and manned an information booth during the International Human Rights Film Festival hosted by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.

Some people started learning the exercises in the exhibition hall. Some people even participated in the group study and practise on the same evening. Afterwards, some practitioners talked to them about their experiences in practising cultivation. Everybody felt peace and energy from the practise.

Koeln Cathedral is an important sightseeing stop and attracts visitors from around the world. Every day several hundred, sometimes even close to a thousand Chinese tourists come to visit the cathedral. Three of the nine photo display boards are in Chinese, and many Chinese tourists have expressed interest in our exhibition.

From September 18th through the 24th, governments from around the world participated in a series of international conferences that took place in Copenhagen. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) also held many activities. Falun Gong held a press conference on the afternoon of September 21st. Agents of Jiang's regime tried their hardest to ruin the conference by shouting and causing trouble.

On the opening day, an Icelandic national TV station reported on the exhibitions during their evening news program. The Chinese Embassy repeatedly pressured the Icelandic authorities to remove the exhibitions. A city official resolutely stated, “No single photo should be taken down. It is Iceland, not China!”
