Saturday 26th April was beautifully sunny. UK Falun Gong practitioners held a parade through central London to commemorate April 25th. During the parade, some practitioners handed out leaflets to passers-by that told them what Falun Gong is and why the Chinese Communist Party is persecuting such a peaceful and beneficial practice.

During a series of events on the days preceding the European Falun Gong Experience Sharing Conference held in Warsaw last month, over 100 MPs signed a petition to support Falun Gong within one day. Besides the recognition and support from political circles and media in Poland, the support from ordinary people also touched Falun Gong practitioners from Europe. On September 21st and 22nd Falun Gong practitioners held a parade and rally in the city centre, which was given widespread coverage by the media.

Although the police has been advised in advance about this and the activities were approved by the organisers of the event, Falun Gong participants were informed, just before the parade neared the Chinese market, that they could not distribute flyers like other groups and two banners were confiscated, claiming that the information on the banners was politically motivated.

Practitioners from Cornwall in England, supported by practitioners from London and Brighton, took part in Truro carnival for the first time on 8th September 2007. The Falun Dafa float, decorated with beautiful pink lotus flowers, Falun symbols and heavenly clouds, carried practitioners demonstrating the peaceful Falun Gong exercises.

On August 4th 2007, the day before the Cavalcade marking the opening of the Edinburgh International Festival, the European Divine Land Marching Band, which is composed of Falun Gong practitioners from the U.K and other European countries, held a parade supporting the 24 million people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party.

The parade included banners, music, waist-drummers dressed in gold, and many female practitioners dressed in white holding photos of those killed in the persecution. The tail of the parade included a float and banners exposing the atrocities committed by the CCP and highlighting the harvesting of organs from prisoners of conscience.

On April 21st, 2007, the European Celestial Band was invited to join the 60th Flower Parade and also took part in a big parade and assembly organised by the local Withdrawing from the CCP Centre in Hague. The second parade celebrated the twenty million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its related organisations.

On April 21st, 2007, the 60th 'Great Flower Vehicle Parade' was held in Holland, with this year's theme being ‘‘Joyful Celebration’’. The 'Celestial Band', a marching band consisting of European Falun Gong practitioners, walked at the front of the parade, leading the way with a piece of music specially composed by Falun Gong practitioners. Forty vehicles took part in the whole parade, and they proceeded slowly to warm applause from the gathered crowds.

On April 6th, many groups and organisations held a grand rally and parade in London supporting the twenty million brave Chinese people who have quit the CCP and its associated organisations, as well as Falun Gong practitioners in China who have been persecuted to death by the CCP and eighty million Chinese people who have been killed since the CCP came to power.

2007 in Port Laoise was the first time that Irish Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the St. Patrick's day parade. The presentation of the Falun Dafa meditation practice accompanied by beautiful traditional Chinese dancing and thunderous Chinese drumming was warmly applauded by the audience.

On February 17th 2007, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Chinese New Year’s Parade in Noisy Le Grand, a suburb of Paris, under invitation from the city. After the parade reached its destination – the Community Centre – practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Some visitors asked to learn the exercises right after the demonstration.

On February 10th 2007, when the European Falun Gong Divine Land Marching Band made its debut on Berlin’s Unter den Linden, the magnificent resounding music attracted a lot of people’s attention. The band, consisting of one hundred and fifty Falun Gong practitioners from about twenty European countries, was established in October 2006.

Falun Gong practitioners from European countries held a grand parade, calling on people to pay attention to the continuous persecution of Falun Gong in China, expressing support for eighteen million brave people who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and disclosing the CCP's organ harvesting crimes.

In order to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution against Falun Gong, practitioners from France, Belgium and the Netherlands participated in the parade. With a live show, they exposed the CCP’s atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and the CCP’s torture of practitioners.

Many passers-by were attracted by this special parade and demonstrations of the beautiful Falun Gong exercises; they happily accepted leaflets. After hearing a speech exposing organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime, many people immediately signed a petition demanding an end to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

On Saturday August 26th, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a march through central London, letting people know about Falun Gong and the persecution that has been waged against the practice for the last seven years. A particular focus of the parade was letting people know how the CCP harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and sells them for vast profits.

After seeing the Falun Gong group in the parade, many Germans came to the Falun Gong stand and wanted to know more. After the horrible practice of organ harvesting on live Falun Gong practitioners was revealed, Falun Gong practitioners are trying to expose the CCP’s crimes to the whole world and hope to bring an end to this persecution.

From August the 11th to the 13th 2006, in Poland’s capital Warsaw, Falun Dafa practitioners from Poland and other countries held a series of events to promote Falun Dafa and expose the persecution to the people of Poland. This was the first time European practitioners gathered together for such a large-scale activity in Warsaw.

On August 6th, UK Falun Gong practitioners participated in the cavalcade of the 30th Edinburgh International Festival. This was the fifth year in a row that Falun Gong practitioners have taken part. The Falun Gong section of the cavalcade included banners, a flag dancing formation, a float with exercise demonstrations and drum players.

Falun Gong practitioners held a rally and parade on July 15th 2006 in Berlin, Germany. They exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutality by reenacting the tortures inflicted upon Falun Gong practitioners in China and protested the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

On Saturday 15th July, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference and parade in central London to let people know that Falun Gong has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for seven years. After the press conference, the practitioners paraded through central London. The beautiful sunshine meant that the streets were crowded.

On June 3rd 2006, The Epoch Times, The Federation for a Democratic China (FDC) and Falun Gong practitioners held a rally and parade in Munich to condemn the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) violations of human rights, and to support the eleven million people quitting the CCP. After the parade, practitioners held an anti-torture photo exhibition, and re-enacted the CCP's organ harvesting.

On May 28-29, Falun Gong practitioners held a Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference. Over a dozen practitioners shared their experiences and understandings. There was also a parade and candlelight vigil in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Falun Dafa practitioners from Germany, Poland, Russia and other major cities also came to participate.

On May 29th, 2006 UK Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Lord Mayor’s Parade in Oxford. This is the fourth time that Falun Gong took part in the parade, which was mainly made up of local charities. The Lord Mayor of Oxford expressed his gratitude for Falun Gong practitioners’ participation which greatly enriched the city.

The sound of waist-drums and Chinese music echoed on the lakeside. The first thing to greet people's eyes eyes were three huge gold Chinese characters reading ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance’ and a gold banner reading ‘Falun Dafa is good’. Then came the waist-drummers in yellow uniforms.

On April 22nd, U.K. Falun Gong practitioners held a parade and a press conference in the centre of London to mark the seventh anniversary of the “April 25th Incident,” in which over ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners peacefully waited outside the Appeals Office in Beijing, near the leadership compound.

On April the 3rd 2006, practitioners from thirty or so European countries and others from Taiwan held a grand parade in downtown Geneva, Switzerland to protest against the Chinese Communist regime establishing concentration camps in Sujiatun and other regions to remove living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs

Falun Gong practitioners’ performances of waist drumming, the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and several dances — including the Lotus Dance, Fan Dance and Lion Dance — were highly acclaimed by the throngs of people who lined the pavements. Many people have learned about Falun Gong through this activity.

On January 3rd 2006 two London Falun Gong practitioners attended a New Years Day Award Ceremony for the participants of the London Parade. The Falun Gong group entry received a commemorative plaque and a certificate presented by the Lord Mayor of Westminster in recognition and appreciation of their participation in the parade.

Enduring temperatures of less than minus 20 degrees, the Kremenchuk citizens held a parade supporting the Council of Europe’s ‘Draft Resolution to Condemn the Communist Party’s Crimes’. The parade also highlighted how over seven million people, the bulk of who are from China, have withdrawn from the Communist Party and its affiliated organisations.

The New Year's Day Parade London is held on January 1st every year and it has been going for twenty years now. Over ten thousand performers from around the world participated and among them was a Falun Gong group. It was estimated that about 450,000 people came to watch.

The parade underpinned the profoundness of traditional Chinese culture while exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s six years’ of brutal persecution against Falun Gong. Wherever the parade went, people stopped to watch the exercise demonstrations, read leaflets and find out more about both Falun Gong practice and the persecution.

UK Falun Gong practitioners were back by invitation this year. Their performance was praised as beautiful and peaceful and received applause from the spectators as they passed. The group showed the beauty of Falun Dafa through traditional Chinese music, costume, dance and theatre as well as demonstrating the five sets of graceful Falun Dafa exercises.

An event was held in Dublin city centre on 10th December 2005. The rally aimed to support the 6 million people who have now publicly renounced their membership of the Chinese Communist Party. Some Irish practitioners joined the event to protest against the CCP’s six-year persecution against Falun Gong.

Falun Gong practitioners from different countries held an enormous parade when President Hu was visiting Düsseldorf. The parade was composed of a drum team, a group of practitioners in white holding photos of those persecuted to death, girls in traditional Chinese costumes and hundreds of banners and picture boards.

To let people know about the persecution against Falun Gong in China, practitioners from Milan, Rome and Florence set up a stall on the the parade route. They displayed poster information boards and demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. There were many people who stopped to chat with practitioners and read the information boards.

On August 7th, over eighty teams from around the world came to participate in the Edinburgh International Art Festival Parade in the capital of Scotland. This year was the fourth time Falun Gong practitioners have participated in the parade and also the fourth time that they have won the community category award for their parade performance.

The 7th of August 2005 was the day of the 59th International Edinburgh Arts Festival in Scotland. Falun Gong practitioners once again attended the festival cavalcade and were awarded the best Specialty Prize. This is the fourth time that the Falun Gong group has received this prize since they started to participate three years ago.

Local people who were warm-hearted had made many colourful, big banners and slogans such as “Support the Million People who have Withdrawn from the CCP”, “Saluting a New China Without the Rule of the CCP” and “It is High Time We said Goodbye to the CCP”. The parade was about two hundred metres long and was very eye-catching.

On June the 25th, several thousand Frankfurt people watched the Frankfurt parade under the blazing sunlight. German Falun Gong practitioners wore traditional Chinese costumes and participated in the parade. On the route of the parade, they came across several tourist groups from China who wanted to pose for pictures with the practitioners and take some Falun Gong leaflets.

Falun Gong practitioners participated in the annual carnival in Hammarkullen, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors. The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed leaflets, informing people about Falun Gong cultivation practice and the persecution practitioners in China are suffering at the hands of the Communist Party.

Germany’s Ninth Bielefeld Cultural Festival was held and around 1,500 people from seventy organisations participated in a parade. Many people clapped along with the beat of the waist drum performance. Practitioners’ peaceful and graceful demonstration of the five sets of exercises on a float was the target of the crowd’s cameras.

The city of Oxford held the new Mayor Inauguration Grand Parade. The participants were primarily from local charity groups and local organisations, including Falun Gong practitioners. Cheerful waist drumming, elegant silk fan dancing, eye-catching banners and the spirit of Falun Gong practitioners gave a positive impression to the public.

In contrast to many other nations, Norwegians celebrate National Day with a children’s parade instead of a military parade. Many children received the lotus flowers with surprised and happy expressions; some asked to get one extra to give to their sister, brother or friend. Many people, old and young, asked for and received a lotus flower.

During the recent Falun Gong conference in Ukraine, practitioners from Ukraine, Russia and the Baltic states held a parade in Kiev. The parade marched through the centre of the capital and passed the Chinese Embassy, the Supreme Senate, the President's Office and the Ministerial Offices.

Every year during the Easter Holiday, the ancient Scottish city of Edinburgh attracts many tourists from around the world. The city council uses this opportunity to host various cultural activities to entertain the visitors, with the Easter Parade being the most eye-catching one since its inception two years ago. By invitation, Falun Gong has participated in the parade both years.

After getting to know the truth further, people condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, praised Falun Gong practitioners for bringing the beauty of Chinese culture to the French people and showed their support for those who still persist in opposing the persecution peacefully.

Hundreds of practitioners from all over Europe held a parade through Paris. The parade featured a waist drum formation, fan dancing, lotus flower dancing, practitioners dressed in the costumes of celestial beings such as heavenly warriors and beauties scattering flowers, a float with costumes from China’s most prosperous Tang Dynasty period and a Falun Gong exercise demonstration.

The parade consisted of a waist drum formation, traditional Chinese fan dancing and lotus flower dancing, costumes from China’s most prosperous Tang Dynasty period and a Falun Gong exercise demonstration float. Firecrackers, gongs, drums and elegant dances expressed heartfelt New Year wishes to everyone.

In addition to displaying the widespread recognition of Falun Gong around the world and the benefits that Falun Gong has brought to society, the parade also intended to illustrate the on-going persecution that the regime in China has been waging against Falun Gong for the past five years. Latvian Falun Gong practitioners also attended the parade, hoping to raise the awareness of the international society to Jiang’s persecution against Falun Gong.
