Falun Gong practitioners hand out leaflets to passers-by that contain details of the lawsuit against Jiang for his crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong. To date, more than 1600 practitioners have been persecuted to death. There are still 6000 Falun Gong practitioners illegally imprisoned, with hundreds of thousands of practitioners being detained in forced labour camps.

When the nearby police officers read our posters, they were very friendly. One practitioner walked over to them with Fadu and explained that the person eating in the nearby building was responsible for the persecution. Even before she had finished the sentence, little Fadu said to them: “I haven’t got a daddy, my daddy was persecuted to death.”

The evening news showed Falun Gong practitioners’ appeal to Finnish people throughout the country. The Minister of Justice said he was going to raise the issue of human rights with Luo Gan and stated in the news that with regard to Falun Gong practitioners’ peaceful appeals, it is right that the Chinese officials see what people in Finland and Europe think.

Before arriving in Finland, Luo Gan had already faced a lawsuit in Iceland launched by Falun Gong practitioners. As one of the world’s worst abusers of human rights, he wasn’t a welcome visitor in Finland either. He didn’t allow newspapers to interview him, apparently in fear of questions regarding the practitioners’ lawsuits.

As Luo Gan passed by he had a full view of the beautiful Falun Gong banners blowing in the wind. Journalists from Iceland's major media organisations were present. That night Iceland TV carried reports on this event letting more Icelandic people know about the horrific abuses of human rights that are happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China.

The policeman mentioned that he spent most of his time on duty watching us practising the exercises, and that he had almost learned the whole set of exercises, and might go to the park to practise the exercises with others in the future. Before leaving, he told us that many of his colleagues have already read Falun Gong leaflets and they all support us.

They sent forth righteous thoughts and gave leaflets to passers-by, letting them know more about the persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners took it in turns to demonstrate the Dafa exercises, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. There were lots of people passing by the Embassy, so there were many opportunities to talk and let them know about the persecution happening in China.

Entrusted by Falun Gong practitioners, the renowned Belgian human rights lawyer Georges-Henri Beauthier filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and Li Lanqing with the Federal Prosecutor on charges of genocide, anti-human behaviour and cruel torture on the morning of August 20th. Many Dafa practitioners from various European countries went to Belgium to support the case.

On July 20 2003, practitioners in Italy practised the Falun Gong exercises opposite the Chinese Embassy. They sent forth righteous thoughts and called on the people of Italy to help stop the ruthless persecution of Falun Gong practitioners that has been ongoing in China for the last four years.

With banners and display boards, the practitioners attracted the interest of not only local people, but the staff of the embassy as well. A reporter from one of the largest TV channels in Finland came to interview the practitioners at the embassy. Later a story about the appeal appeared in newspapers as well.

On July 20, practitioners held a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy in Athens to mark four years of ruthless persecution by the Jiang Zemin regime against Falun Gong. The practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and explained the facts about the persecution to the people of Greece using a photo display.

Due to interference, practitioners could not read their statement aloud to the public through the amplifier. However, no interference could change practitioners’ determination to tell the truth and to expose the evil. Over ten practitioners read the statement aloud together both in Chinese and French; the noise of the passing vehicles also subsided so the voice of justice could clearly reach the public.

“We call upon all of the compassionate people, governments and media to condemn the crimes committed by Jiang’s group, and the unlawful diplomatic pressure put on foreign countries. Put a stop to the persecution of Falun Gong. The criminals who commit torture, anti-human behaviour and genocide should be brought to justice and legal punishment!”

July 17th was the World Day for International Justice. The purpose of this day is to motivate the international judicial system to uphold human dignity by restraining human rights abuses. Belgian Falun Dafa practitioners appealed for an end to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China over the past four years, and to bring the prime culprit of this persecution, Jiang Zemin, to stand public trial in an international tribunal.

In the darkness, the candlelight reflected the determined faces of Dafa practitioners. Cars that passed by slowed down to look at the practitioners as they sent forth righteous thoughts. Some drivers, who already understood the facts and were familiar with the peaceful appeals, blew their car horns or gave a thumbs up sign to express their support.

As the fourth anniversary of the Jiang regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners approaches, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese embassy on July 12 to demand and end to the ruthless suppression of practitioners in China.

On July 11, more than thirty Europan Dafa practitioners appealed in front of the Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg for an end to the four-year persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Jiang regime. Two of the leading media organizations in Luxembourg came to interview practitioners, who told them how Jiang is being brought to court in the U.S. for crimes of Genocide.

Every Sunday, come rain or shine, Norwegian practitioners meet in front of the Chinese Embassy to send forth righteous thoughts and tell passers-by the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa, the lawsuit that will bring Jiang to justice for his crimes against humanity and Jiang's attempts to spread his terror tactics to the free land of Hong Kong through Article 23.

Dafa practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese consulate in Munich to support the global campaign to bring Jiang Zemin to justice. From June 19 to 22, practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts every hour.

The practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts at the top of each hour and told the people of London the facts about Falun Gong. People signed their names on a petition to bring Jiang to justice. It is clear that the dictator will be brought to pay for his wicked crimes against humanity, not only through legal courts, but also through the people’s courts of morality and conscience.

The sufferings inflicted by Jiang on innocent law-abiding citizens in China are not only a grave insult to the people of China, but also the people of the free world. As Dafa practitioners, we bear no hatred for being mistreated but our legal actions are essential to bring a halt to the evil deeds of a madman and to make the world a better place to live.

Falun Dafa practitioners in Finland held a 30-hour peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese embassy from Friday through to Saturday evening. They supported the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin and the notorious “610-office” by sending forth righteous thoughts at the top of every hour, and explaining the facts about the evil persecution with banners and display boards.

For the past few days, Falun Gong practitioners in Paris continued to send forth righteous thoughts and support the lawsuits launched against Jiang. The term “human rights scoundrel” has been attributed to Jiang by a well-known international human rights organisation for many years and is a true description of his cruel and brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

Since early June, Swedish Dafa practitioners have gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm, in all kinds of weather, to send forth righteous thoughts. They have distributed leaflets told people about the importance of the global lawsuits against Jiang; it is the will of the people that will send Jiang to face trial in the International Criminal Court.

Practitioners from all over Scotland peacefully appealed outside the Chinese Consulate to highlight to the public that there is a lawsuit underway in the United States to sue the Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin for Genocide against innocent Falun Gong practitioners.

UK practitioners met opposite the Chinese Embassy in London to send forth righteous thoughts in support of the lawsuit against Jiang launched in Chicago, and the rescue efforts for US practitioner Charles Li who is illegally detained in China. Practitioners hoped to tell people the facts about the global efforts to bring Jiang to justice and the horrific crimes that he has instigated.

Falun Gong practitioners from Denmark and Sweden gathered in front of the Chinese embassy in Copenhagen to support the global lawsuit against dictator Jiang Zemin for his crime of genocide in his brutal persecution of Falun Gong, and to support US practitioner Dr. Charles Li, who is illegally imprisoned in China.

The sounds of the practitioners reading aloud Jiang's crimes during the persecution of Falun Gong were loud and clear, drawing some consular officials' attention. A member of Amnesty International happened to pass by. After he listened to the introduction of the global lawsuit against Jiang, he was very interested.

Since the 7th of June, some Swedish Falun Gong practitioners in Stockholm have sent forth righteous thoughts every hour in front of the Chinese embassy in Stockholm. The appeal is to coincide with Fa-rectification activities happening around the world to support the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

Practitioners felt that they could not merely sit by and watch with Charles Li on his 7th day of a hunger strike. He is currently in a critical condition and so practitioners understood that they must exert great efforts to do their best to tell people about this matter.

This day was the 1st anniversary of the permanent 24-hour peaceful vigil in front of the Embassy. The reasons for the press conference were to celebrate this historical day, to support the lawsuit against Jiang that has been filed in Chicago, and to call for the release of Dr. Charles Li, an American who is on hunger strike in a Chinese prison.

According to sources in the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai, Charles Li has experienced beatings and force-feedings while in custody. UK Falun Gong practitioners are seriously concerned about the safety of his life, as more than 10% of the Falun Gong practitioners who have died in Chinese custody have died from force-feeding.

Practitioners from Slovakia and Austria met in front of the Chinese Embassy in Bratislava to send forth righteous thoughts and appeal against the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Many passers-by read the leaflets we handed out, looked at the banners and watched the peaceful exercises.

A few days earlier, some practitioners had visited representatives from 15 European countries in Strasbourg. They delivered a copy of some documents on the genocide lawsuit filed against Jiang Zemin. They also requested help in rescuing Ms. Xiong Wei, a student from Berlin Technical University, who is currently illegally imprisoned in China.

From April 26 to 29 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners in Latvia held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Embassy, which enabled the media in the Baltic Sea area and local residents to the have chance to learn about the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and the "610" Office for their crimes against humanity.

In front of the Chinese Consulate, practitioners in Switzerland performed Falun Gong exercises and with this peaceful form demanded that the Chinese government immediately stop this unreasonable persecution. Many passersby were willing to accept Dafa truth-clarifying newsletters. The current SARS epidemic has allowed people to more clearly see through the Jiang regime's lies.

They called for the Chinese government to immediately stop persecuting Falun Gong. They also condemned some of the Embassy staff members for spreading propaganda to slander Falun Gong and deceive the public.
