On April 25th 2003, Italian practitioners held a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese consulates in Milan and Florence to commemorate the April 25th appeal at Zhongnanhai in 1999. During the past four years, Dafa practitioners have consistently exposed the truth about the Jiang regime’s persecution in China and around the world.

On April 25 2003, Dafa practitioners from Ireland held a press conference outside the Chinese Embassy in Dublin to commemorate four years since the April 25 peaceful appeal in Beijing. They also collected signatures at Dublin's two universities to rescue practitioners Liu Feng and Yang Fang, who were detained after returning to China from Ireland in 1999.

Four years ago, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to Beijing to peacefully appeal to the government to uphold their basic rights as Chinese citizens. Jiang Zemin spread lies about this event to turn people’s heart against Falun Dafa and launch his brutal campaign of terror against Dafa practitioners.

One lady carefully read the materials that practitioners were handing out and also carefully examined the display boards, before she had to leave. She soon returned and silently placed a bunch of flowers in front of the photos of the practitioners who have lost their lives during the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong.

So many people were interested in learning about Falun Gong and the persecution that practitioners ran out of their leaflet on the genocide lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang in just one hour. People were shocked and infuriated when they learned about the persecution. Many Chinese people also stayed with practitioners for a long time to learn the true facts about Falun Gong.

The appeal began at midday with a press conference. Letters of support were read out from Members of the European Parliament and the Belgian Parliament. Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Xianghe, who lives in the Netherlands, spoke about how the Jiang regime has severely persecuted her family, solely because they are Falun Gong practitioners.

On April 25 2003, Dafa practitioners from Sweden gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm to commemorate the “April 25th” appeal. On this day in 1999, ten thousand practitioners peacefully appealed to the Beijing authorities to cease their increasing persecution of Falun Gong.

On the April 25 2003, Swedish Dafa practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg to hold a peaceful appeal, commemorating the fourth anniversary of the Zhongnanhai event.

Many passers by were attracted by the beautiful exercises and the exhibition boards. They were shocked by the crimes of Jiang’s regime in China and scolded the Chinese government for the atrocities they have comitted against Falun Gong practitioners, encouraged us and conveyed their best wishes to us.

From April 18 to 21 2003, several UK Falun Gong practitioners appealed peacefully for the release of their friends and family members, Zhu Baolian, sister of Zhu Baosheng, Yongjie Zhu, fiancée of Weiguo Xie, and Zheng Xujun in front of the Chinese Embassy in London. Practitioners in the UK hoped to rescue those who are suffering from the persecution in China.

Practitioners from Denmark were joined by Swedish practitioners for this important activity to send forth righteous thoughts and to let more people know that the Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, who instigated the brutal persecution against Falun Dafa in 1999, will be brought to justice for his horrific crimes against humanity.

Upon seeing our flyers and posters regarding the lawsuit against Jiang, many kind-hearted people said that this is really an effective way to solve the problem of the Jiang regime's persecution. They also expressed their understanding and support for our persistent peaceful appeal and sincerely wished us great success!

On April 14 2003, the plaintiffs' attorney provided the US district court in Illinois with documents citing evidence of crimes committed by Jiang and the 610 Office and for the legal procedure of the lawsuit. At this important historical moment, practitioners from Denmark continued their activity of sending forth righteous thoughts at set hours outside the Chinese Embassy.

According to Central News Agency's report from Paris on April 15, Falun Gong practitioners in France held group practise on April 14 in front of the Chinese Consulate in France to support the US Falun Gong practitioners' attorney to charge in a US district court in Illinois the former President of China, Jiang with genocide for his long period of brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners.

Many people asked about the purpose of this appeal. The practitioners told them that the Jiang regime has overthrown justice and gone against human nature in its treatment of Falun Gong. To uphold justice, Falun Gong practitioners have filed a lawsuit against Jiang for committing crimes against humanity, genocide and brutal torture.

Over the weekend practitioners took to the streets of Dublin to tell the Irish people about the case of Mr Liu Feng. Many kind-hearted passers by took petition letters and expressed their dismay and horror at the Chinese regime’s treatment of Falun Gong practitioners.

To support the lawsuit against China's dictator Jiang Zemin, practitioners from Sweden gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm and the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg on April 13 and April 14. They sent forth righteous thoughts, and told passers by about the lawsuit against Jiang and the persecution against Dafa practitioners.

On April 14 2003, practitioners from Helsinki in Finland appealed in front of the Chinese Embassy, calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and revealed the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution to passers by.

On April 12 2003, Dafa practitioners from Ireland appealed in front of the Chinese Embassy in Dublin to support the lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. They also appealed for the release of 2 Chinese Dafa practitioners who are being persecuted in China and prevented from returning to Ireland to complete their studies.

On April 1 2003, our appeal activity outside the Germany Parliament Building entered its second day. Falun Gong practitioners explained the facts of the persecution and called upon the German Parliament to issue an urgent resolution to help stop the severe persecution that has been going on in China against Falun Gong and Its practitioners.

“I am a Taiwanese citizen living in Germany. I am acquainted with Lin Wenrong and I know that she is a friendly person and is always happy to help others. We know that she was placed under house arrest in China and does not have the freedom to contact people outside. We sincerely hope that she can return to Germany as soon as possible and continue her studies.”

On March 21 during the 59th UN Human Rights Convention, about 300 Falun Gong practitioners from different countries gathered in Berne, Switzerland to hold a parade and a peaceful appeal to protest against Jiang regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

On March 20 2003, more than 500 Falun Gong practitioners continued their large-scale appeal at the Palais des Nations, which is the main United Nations building in Geneva. At 11:30 a.m., a press conference was held to appeal for the rescue of American citizen Charles Li.

The site of the signature collecting is where all parliament members' cars had to pass by. Many people not only signed their names but also requested an additional petition form to take back home. Few of those who listened seriously to the truth refused to sign their names. They also promised to spread the facts of the persecution to all their friends and contacts.

Practitioners requested the unconditional and immediate release of American citizen Charles Li and German student Lin Wenrong. Both have been imprisoned whilst visiting family in China, solely because they practise Falun Gong.

German Falun Gong practitioners organised a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese Consulate in Bonn, calling on the Jiang regime to immediately release German practitioner Ms. Lin Wenrong. Lin was arrested during a visit to China to celebrate Chinese New Year with her relatives.

Because the Chinese Consulate is situated in an industrial area, many cars and trucks passed us. On passing, the drivers kindly showed their support by giving the thumbs up sign, waving in a friendly manner and beeping their car horns.

On February 26th 2003, practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Belgium to peacefully appeal against the horrifying Article 23 legislation in Hong Kong.

On the 14th January 2003, UK Dafa practitioners joined the worldwide peaceful appeal in front of Chinese embassies and consulates by holding an activity in front of the Chinese consulate in Manchester.

Several Falun Gong practitioners from Belgium, Hong Kong, and Taiwan held a peaceful appeal in front of the European Union Minister Council Building and called on the European Union to urge the Myanmar government to release Chan Wing-yuen, who is illegally imprisoned.

Zhu Baolian, sister of UK resident Zhu Baosheng, and Zhu Yongjie, the fiancée of overseas student Dr. Xie Weiguo, have been illegally sentenced and imprisoned in China because they practise Falun Gong. Baolian and Yongjie’s stories have not only touched the hearts of the UK people, but also moved the Chinese people who have been able to see through the Jiang regime’s lies. All kind-hearted people are awakening and seeing the truth behind the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

On 17 January 2003, a group of Dafa practitioners from Belgium and Holland appealed outside of the Chinese Embassy in Brussels, calling for an end to the persecution and killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

During the signature drive, people from many different walks of life signed their names. Some asked us if we would continue the signature drive at the same place the next day because they wanted to bring their friends and relatives to sign. Some of them wrote down our address or took a blank form home or to their office to let others sign their names.

People passing by took information about the practice and persecution, and one man came and conducted an interview for a local radio. He wanted to help to stop the persecution and let more Finnish people know the truth nature of Falun Gong.

During the dates of the 12 January to the 14 January, Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Embassy in Dublin. They called for an end to the killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China

On January 13 and 14, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners from southern Germany and northern Austria held a two-day peaceful appeal and candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Consulate..Although a cold wind blew hard and it snowed heavily, practitioners' powerful righteous thoughts were not moved at all.

On January 11 2003, Western and Chinese practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Embassy. On January 12 and 13, more practitioners joined their peaceful protest and strongly appealed the Chinese authorities' brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Practitioners have been regularly appealing in front of the consulate for a long time and many people working in nearby shops have become friends with them. When they learned that at least 43 Falun Gong practitioners have lost their lives since November due to the persecution, they were shocked and said that they simply could not understand why the Jiang regime is treating ordinary Chinese people with such brutality. They were deeply moved by the peaceful appeals of Falun Gong practitioners in the cold weather.

On January 13 2003, practitioners in Poland staged a peaceful appeal outside of the Chinese Embassy in Warsaw in order to bring to light the terrible atrocities perpetrated by the Jiang regime.

On January 13 2003, Falun Gong practitioners in France gathered outside of the Chinese embassy in Paris to appeal to the Jiang regime to end the brutal killing of Falun Gong practitioners.

This appeal was to commemorate the 43 practitioners in China whose deaths from torture have been recently reported and to protest the killing of Dafa practitioners by the Jiang/Luo regime.

The practitioners, with compassionate hearts in bad weather conditions, patiently revealed the truth about Falun Dafa. They appealed to the public to help stop the killing of practitioners in China under the command of Chinese tyrant Jiang Zemin and his partner-in-crime Luo Gan.

Swiss Falun Gong practitioners initiated a 3-day appeal to stop the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong by the Jiang regime. This appeal is part of a worldwide effort by practitioners to end the Jiang regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.

On January 12th, Dafa practitioners from Stockholm, Sweden, began a 3-day appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy. Practitioners planned to hold a press conference on January 14 at 11 a.m., to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Jiang regime, and to urgently call on China to stop killing innocent Falun Gong practitioners.
