Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the hunger strike protest distributed several thousand flyers with information about concentration camps in China as well as about the withdrawals from the communist party. Many people decided to help with their signature to stop the atrocities in the concentration camps.

Falun Gong practitioners conducted a peaceful protest outside the front gate of Hofburg Square against the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party.

The Epoch Times Newspaper reported on the Chinese Communist Party’s labour camps in which Falun Gong practitioners are detained and their organs harvested to be sold while they are still alive. After the sickening facts were exposed, on March 23rd, Italian Falun Gong practitioners held a protest activity outside City Hall in Turin. Turin and Shenyang city, where one notorious camp is located, are twinned cities. |

On April 3rd 2006, several Scottish Falun Gong practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh to protest against and expose the CCP’s illegal harvesting and trade in organs from living Falun Gong practitioners at Sujiatun Concentration Camp. Many people took leaflets and often inquired for further details.

Falun Gong practitioners from the Czech Republic held a 24-hour hunger strike to protest against the concentration camp in Sujiatun, where Chinese practitioners are illegaly detained. The hunger strike was held at the Chinese Embassy in Prague. Passers-by expressed sympathy for the people suffering in the concentration camp.

When the news of Sujiatun concentration camp and the removal of human organs from living victims was exposed recently, the UK Chinese Organisations for Upholding Human Rights handed in an appeal letter to Prime Minister Tony Blair, and asked the UK government to be concerned about trade in human organs removed from the bodies of Falun Gong practitioners. The Independent reported earlier that week that trading in human organs on the black market is still rampant in mainland China. |

On February 18th, 2006, some British Falun Gong practitioners participated in a global hunger strike relay against violent repression in St. Martin Square in the centre of London. They collected signatures condemning an attack on Dr. Li Yuan by suspected agents of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Tourists and passers-by signed their names on a petition to show support.

The Council of Europe held a meeting in Strasbourg to discuss and vote on a resolution condemning the crimes of communist regimes worldwide. To express support for this resolution, people in Stockholm met at Normanstorg square. Some practitioners also attended to talk about the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party.

UK practitioner Li Heping was a victim of “The Same Song”. In 2001, Li was illegally sent to a labour camp where the police would play “The Same Song” when he was tortured. On December 22nd, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners held peaceful appeals at the Thai Embassy in Stockholm and the Thai Consulate in Gothenburg. An Official associated with the Embassy told practitioners their letter of petition and information materials had been handed over to the Ambassador and the Thai government.

On the 19th of December 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland went to the Argentinean Embassy to submit an open letter to the Argentinean Ambassador. The letter called on the Ambassador and the Argentinean government to conduct a thorough investigation of the serious incident where Falun Gong practitioners were beaten by villains under the direction of the Chinese Embassy in Argentina's capital whilst Argentinean Police looked on. Argentinean people who wanted to stop the violence were also injured. |

On the 20th of December, Falun Gong practitioners in Denmark went to the Argentinean Embassy to submit an open letter from the Danish Falun Gong Association to the ambassador. In the letter, practitioners called on the Argentinean government to pay close attention to recent actions by the Chinese Embassy in Buenos Aires, which recently ordered villains to assault Falun Gong practitioners who engaged in peaceful protest during Luo Gan's visit to Argentina. Luo was the head of the Chinese Communist Party's evil Gestapo-like organisation — the 610 office — that was created to persecute Falun Gong and operates above Chinese law. |
