On July 20th 2005, the official starting date for the Chinese Communist Party’s campaign of terror and persecution against Falun Gong, practitioners in Edinburgh held an all-day appeal outside the Chinese Consulate. All over the world, commemorative activities called for an end to the torture that has taken the lives of over 2,600 innocent practitioners.

On the 16th of June 2005, Gao Rongrong lost her life in China through unimaginable, brutal and inhumane torture by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). On the 7th of July, Falun Gong practitioners from Berlin and Leipzig gathered at the Breitscheidtplatz and held a candlelight vigil to commemorate her murder.

Falun Gong practitioners in Latvia staged a peaceful appeal at the Chinese Embassy to raise public awareness of the six years of cruel persecution against the practice in China. Many people accepted flyers from the practitioners. After hearing the facts about Falun Gong, they expressed their sympathy to the persecuted practitioners and hoped that this persecution can end as soon as possible.

On the 3rd of July 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in France held activities to promote Falun Gong and expose the persecution on Human Rights Square right opposite the Eiffel Tower. Tourists from all over the world queued up to sign a petition calling for an end to the persecution. Some of them got a practitioner to teach them the Falun Gong exercises on the spot.

After hearing that Gao Rongrong has been cruelly killed by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, Falun Gong practitioners in Italy went to the Chinese Consulate to peacefully appeal and demand that the murderers be brought to justice. Many passers-by expressed their indignation at the sinister behaviour and terrible human rights abuses of the CCP.

Before the G8 Summit, more than twenty Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh on 4th July. The practitioners were protesting against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of their fellow practitioners in China, especially the murder of Gao Rongrong.

On June 21st and 22nd, the annual German-Chinese Rule-of-Law Dialogue was held at Hamburg’s Chamber of Commerce facilities. High-level German and Chinese governmental officials arrived for this meeting. The Ministers for Justice of both countries were also in attendance. Falun Gong practitioners appealed outside the entrance to the Chamber of Commerce.

On 23rd June, the Chinese Consulate General to Germany visited Frankfurt. This is the biggest Consulate General in Europe. Opposite the consulate, people from human rights organisations and Falun Gong practitioners held a protest activity to remind the CCP and the German officials who were attending the opening ceremony to pay attention to the many human rights abuses in China.

On the 26th of June 2005, Belgian practitioners held activities outside the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the killing of Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong. Practitioners held banners reading “Bring the Murderers of Gao Rongrong to Justice” and “CCP: Stop Persecuting Falun Gong Immediately”.

On June 23rd 2001, practitioners gathered at the consulate with the aim of letting people know about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution that is being waged against practitioners in China. At that time, the official death toll was 234 practitioners. Four years later, the consulate appeal is still there but the official death toll has increased to ove 2,600.

That day was United Nations Day in Support of Torture Victims. Practitioners in Munich and nearby areas gathered at the Chinese Consulate to protest against the six-year genocide and the use of hundreds of brutal torture methods against innocent Falun Gong practitioners. They demanded China to stop the persecution immediately.

Spanish practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Spain to protest against the Chinese Communist Party for killing Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong. They appealed for public attention to the campaign of genocide against Falun Gong and for Gao’s murderers to be severely punished.

Female Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong was so badly tortured and mistreated in China that she died on June the 16th 2005. On Saturday June the 25th, Norwegian Falun Gong practitioners held a demonstration at the Chinese Embassy in Oslo. They called for the murderers of Gao Rongrong to be brought to justice for their crimes.

On June 21st 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from the city of Munich and its outskirts gathered at the Chinese Consulate to strongly condemn the Chinese authorities for killing Gao Rongrong. Gao and a group of practitioners had the courage to expose the human rights abuses against her by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and this caught the attention of the world.

Practitioners in France have held daily appeals outside the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) murder of Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong. The French practitioners called for the killers of Gao Rongrong to be brought to justice and for the persecution against Falun Gong to be brought to an end immediately.

Finnish practitioners held a peaceful protest outside the Chinese embassy in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, on 26th June 2005. The purpose of this activity was to expose the facts of the CCP’s cruel persecution of Falun Gong, calling for the murderers of Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong to be severely punished.

Swedish practitioners held a rally outside the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm, strongly protesting against the human rights abuses committed by the CCP who murdered Gao Rongrong. At the embassy, practitioners unfurled banners which read “Stop Persecuting Falun Gong” and “Bring the Murderers of Gao Rongrong to Justice”.

Danish Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the killing of Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong. Practitioners held banners reading “Bring the Murderers of Gao Rongrong to Justice”, “Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Zhou Yongkang and Liu Jing to Justice” and “2602 Falun Gong Practitioners Have Been Killed Since 1999”.

Falun Gong practitioners from several cities in the U.K. once again gathered at the London Chinese Embassy on 25th June to hold a press conference, protesting against the CCP for torturing Chinese Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong to death and demanding that the murderers be severely punished. A representative from the European Falun Gong Association made a speech.

Dutch practitioners appealed at the Chinese Embassy in The Hague, calling for the severe punishment of Gao Rongrong’s murderers. Passers-by were greatly shocked by the disfiguring of Gao’s face with electric shock batons and her death that followed later. They told us that they will carefully read the leaflets and find out more about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

French Falun Gong practitioners peacefully gathered outside the Chinese Embassy in Paris. They strongly condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for brutally torturing Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong to death. They called for an immediate end to the persecution of Falun Gong and for the murderers to be brought to justice.

Gao Rongrong’s face was horribly disfigured in 2004 due to seven hours of electric shock torture and this has already received attention in the international community. Now she has been tortured to death. Russian Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful rally in Smolensk Square in Moscow to condemn the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for killing Gao Rongrong.

Practitioners in Austria gathered at the Chinese Embassy in the capital city of Vienna to strongly protest against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) crime of killing Gao Rongrong and other Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners held banners reading “Stop Persecuting Falun Gong” and “Strongly Condemn the CCP for Killing of Falun Gong Practitioner Gao Rongrong”.

On June 21st 2005, Irish Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Dublin, strongly condemning the killing of Gao Rongrong and calling for the criminals involved to be investigated and brought to justice. One practitioner held Gao Rongrong’s photo showing her face, which was disfigured through electric baton torture.

After hearing the shocking news that Gao Rongrong was tortured to death, Swiss Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in the capital city of Berne on 21st June. They protested against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the brutal killing of Gao Rongrong and strongly condemned the CCP’s inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners that has lasted over six years.

After obtaining the news that female Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong was persecuted to death, some Falun Gong practitioners from Manchester and nearby cities gathered together outside the Chinese Consulate in Manchester between 9:30 am to 12 noon on June 22nd, protesting against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for yet another murder.

News that Chinese Communist Party disfigured Gao Rongrong using electric batons and later killed her on 16th June 2005 has shocked the world. On 24th June 2005, practitioners in Gothenburg and some other cities nearby gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate to strongly condemn the CCP's brutality and atrocities, and to demand punishment for Gao Rongrong's murderers.

On June 21st 2005, UK practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in London to protest against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally torturing Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong (pictured) and taking her life. Gao died on June 16th, following nearly two years of incarceration, brainwashing, and torture for her beliefs.

On June 14th 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from Europe and Taiwan attended a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy in Helsinki. A statement was read calling for an immediate end to the systematic human rights abuses that have been waged against Falun Gong practitioners for the last six years by the Chinese Communist Party.

On the 11th of June, practitioners from all over Europe came to Stockholm for different activities to promote Falun Gong and let people know more about the peaceful practice and the vicious persecution happening in China. Peaceful music and graceful exercise demonstrations encouraged many passers-by to stop and watch.

During the Ukraine Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference, in order to commemorate more than 2300 practitioners who died in the Chinese Communist regime's persecution against Falun Gong, nearly 100 practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in downtown Kiev to hold a candlelight vigil.

Nordic Falun Gong practitioners participated alongside representatives from different rights organisations concerned about the situation in China in an appeal outside the Chinese Embassy and at Mynttorget in Stockholm. The appeal was in support of human rights and to acknowledge the fact that 1.3 million people have quit the CCP during the past six months.

Dutch Falun Gong practitioners went to the Singapore Consulate and peacefully appealed against the Singapore court’s unjust action towards Falun Gong. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, talked to the staff of the Consulate and gave them information about Falun Dafa and the human rights abuses happening in China.

Practitioners held a peaceful appeal in front of the Singapore Embassy in Hungary and called for the Singapore Government to reverse the unjust convictions of two practitioners. They also called on the Singapore Government to stop participating in persecution against Falun Gong in exchange for a little economic benefit from the Chinese Communist regime.

On May the 4th, Austrian practitioners appealed at the Singapore Consulate in Vienna after the unjust verdict issued by a Singapore court against two practitioners. The Singaporeans practised Falun Gong exercises in a park and distributed material regarding the facts of the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Six years have passed since the peaceful appeal in Beijing. Therefore, Falun Dafa practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Consulate in Hamburg’s Elbchaussee. To call attention to the unending persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, we sent righteous thoughts and practised the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.

Falun Gong practitioners rallied at the Singapore Embassy in London. They appealed to the Singapore Government against the unfair trial of two Singapore Falun Gong practitioners, Huang Caihua and Cheng Lujin, calling on the Singapore Government to stop trying to please the Chinese Communist Party by persecuting Falun Gong.

On April 25th, Irish Falun Gong practitioners appealed at the Chinese Embassy in Dublin to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the April 25th peaceful appeal in Beijing. They called on the Chinese Government to stop their persecution against Falun Gong and its practitioners immediately.

Irish practitioners held a peaceful appeal at the Singapore Consulate. They called upon the Singapore Government to immediately revoke the groundless prosecution and sentencing of two innocent Singapore practitioners. They told the Singapore authorities not to bow to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party.

On the 25th of April, Ukrainian practitioners held an activity outside Kiev Chinese Embassy to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the peaceful “4.25” appeal in 1999, when ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners protested for the right to freely practise “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance.”

On April the 25th, UK practitioners held a candlelight vigil outside the Chinese Embassy in London to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the “4.25” peaceful appeal. Many people showed their support for practitioners' efforts to end the persecution happening in China.

London practitioners gathered opposite the Singapore High Commission in protest against the Singapore Government choosing to be an accomplice of the Chinese Communist Party and persecute Falun Gong by sentencing 2 female practitioners to prison. They requested the Singapore government immediately release the innocent practitioners.

To commemorate the sixth anniversary of the peaceful April 25th appeal, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an activity at the Chinese Embassy on April 25th 2005. The practitioners called for an end to the six years of persecution they have endured at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.

Six years ago, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners in China, where Falun Gong originated, went to the State Appeals Office to peacefully appeal for their right to practise Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners in France gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the "April 25" appeal on the afternoon of April 22nd 2005.

On 25th April 2005, practitioners in Denmark went to peacefully demonstrate outside of the Chinese Embassy to call for an end to the nearly six years of brutal persecution in China. Tens of thousands of people have been subjected to torture for their belief in Truth, Compassion and Forbearance. The death toll continues to rise and is now nearing 2,000.

Since the year 2000, each March and April there are one to two thousand Falun Gong practitioners from Europe, Asia, Australia, North America and South America going to Geneva to raise awareness of the persecution against Falun Gong in China. Where does the money for all their travelling and materials come from?

Practitioners sat peacefully on the ground that was covered with ice and snow. They didn't come to the Chinese Embassy to pursue personal interests, but to help more people, including the embassy staff members, understand the persecution that the Chinese Communist regime has conducted against Falun Gong.

The Barcelona Chinese Consulate opens to the public every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On these days, you can always find western Falun Gong practitioners there. They distribute leaflets to the Chinese people who are in the queue and tell them in Chinese: “This is for you. Falun Dafa is good.” They also demonstrate the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.

On the 6th and 7th of March, Dafa practitioners in Finland held a two-day activity in Helsinki. This activity included a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal persecution of people who follow Falun Gong’s principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance”.

European Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the EU Congress Hall to stage an anti-torture exhibition and remind the EU and the world that the Chinese Communist regime have not let up in their campaign of genocide against Falun Gong. People visiting the EU lingered in front of the anti-torture exhibition and talked with practitioners, before carefully reading the posters.
