With Liu in jail his family suffers. His mother, son, and wife all live on his wife's low income, and his wife has to pay a fee for his living expenses at the detention centre. It is unimaginable how difficult it is for his family now. His relatives went to see officers at both the local police station and law enforcement departments seeking a solution. However the officers took no pity, they just passed the problem back and forth.

This is a report on the grave situation of Pan Xuanzhi caused by the illegal acts of various departments. We call on the international community to uphold her legal rights and to bring the perpetrators to justice.

They also covered her head with a plastic bag to suffocate her, burned her chest, and beat on an iron bucket which they had placed over her head. Liu fell into a coma several times; now she is numb on half of her body, and cannot control her bowels and urination. She can only lie in bed all day long; however police still refuse to release her.

..he threatened me saying, "If you do not listen to me, I will open the window and throw you out. Throwing a little kid like you is easy."

All the criminals who saw it were greatly moved. They said, "Those who practise Falun Gong are good people, they only speak the truth, while the police beat them up so hard." Without a trial or chance to appeal, Li Fenyou was illegally sent to Ziyang Forced Labour Camp after the director of police department signed his name. In the labour camp, she endured more tortures and was injected with psychotropic drugs causing mental disorientation and distortion. She was tortured until she was bent over and dying, then the detention centre called her family to carry her home. A smart and capable woman was tortured to the point where she was almost dead simply because she practised Falun Gong. Who are the real criminals destroying families? Who is actually destroying society?

In order to extract information from the practitioner so that they could use it to further persecute other practitioners, the wicked police that night savagely tortured him with "rope tightening," "piercing finger tips with needles," and "scraping the bone with coins" methods. They used the rope tightening method on Zhao three times in a row. [Note: The police tie up the practitioner with a thin rope, circle the rope around his neck, and tie his hands behind his back. Then the police use all the force they could muster to tighten the rope. The rope becomes tighter and tighter around the body of the practitioner, and makes it more and more difficult for him to breathe. The pain is so intense that the practitioner sometimes loses control of his bladder. There are instances when the rope was tightened enough to break or severely injure a practitioner's arm.]

She was seriously injured. Her pelvis was severely dislocated and inflamed. The evil thugs paid no attention to the serious condition of her injury. They dragged her onto a narrow wooden bed only three planks wide and put handcuffs and shackles on her.

We arrived at the Tiananmen Police Station. There I saw the most horrible scene I had ever experienced in my life. A policeman beat this female Dafa practitioner while cursing her with obscene language. Then they forced her to have her picture taken. Five or six policemen held one female Dafa practitioner, pulled her hair and slapped her face, "Pa, Pa, Pa," the sounds shocked and scared people. This young girl cried in pain. My heart became very heavy. I could not believe they were the capital's police.

In order to fulfill the task of capturing practitioners issued by the city government, the thugs forcibly captured 70-year-old Dafa disciple, Sun Maozhang, and a female disciple in Wulin Village and took them to the brainwashing class.

My hands were cuffed and hung up to the cell door. I could not stand upright, sit down, or squat down. I was just hanging there in this position for 6 days and nights. At that time I had scabies all over my body (The hygienic conditions were very poor in the labour camp and we were not allowed to take baths.). The blood and pus dripped from my legs to the ground. My pants were drenched and stuck to my legs, which became more swollen due to the 50 days of standing and the torture in the compartment.

Even under such serious persecution, practitioners still insisted on clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. However, the evil forces of Wanjia Camp do not admit what they have done; they have cut off all communication with the outside and make up fake reports to deceive the public.

On the afternoon of November 17, 2000, two vile persons, Xi Guirong and Jin Lihua, both applied a high-voltage electric baton to her neck for a long time. They punched and kicked her for over two hours. The electric baton burned a large area of her body. She vomited blood and fainted. Now she is disabled.

While in detention, we lived an inhuman life. Everyday, we had to do more than 10 hours' labor. We were not allowed to do the exercises or study the Fa [principles of Falun gong]even for half an hour. One day, we woke up early and immediately began our exercises. The guards found out and called the drug addicts to drag, pull, and beat us. We disobeyed them and still kept doing our exercises. To stop us, they then fixed our arms and legs with handcuffs. Sometimes, we did our exercises when the guards were not paying attention. Even so, sometimes we were beaten and cursed by the drug addicts.

People in the Dongcun Detention Center used extremely cruel and inhuman methods to persecute Dafa practitioners. One day (cannot remember the exact date), the other practitioners from room 209 found that Ren Tingling was in extreme discomfort. She was holding her body, clutching her own shoulders with her arms and her whole body was shaking. She was in critical condition. The other practitioners immediately told the guard, but the guard did not care. Shortly after that, the guard forced the practitioners to go watch a brainwashing video. Some practitioners wanted to stay and take care of Ren but the guard prohibited them. That morning, between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., Ren Tingling died. The police lied to the public, saying that Ren Tingling died from a cerebral hemorrhage.

Falun Gong practitioners never gave up their beliefs, never fought back when they were beaten up, and never cursed back when they were sworn at. They were undoubtedly much to be admired and esteemed!
I truly wish the country could offer justice, and I thank the practitioners who changed my friend into a good person.

Director Huang, you are a witness when I was beaten. I remember there was one night when I was beaten so hard that I collapsed and had to support myself against a table in the female cell. When you and another guy from the political and administrative committee came in, you paid no attention to my suffering and sat right by the table, talking and laughing with those female betrayers. You didn't do anything at all to stop the beating.

Nails and screwdrivers pried a practitioner's teeth loose when he was force-fed. Another practitioner called Wang Xianyou never returned after he was force-fed. Later we learned he died from the torture used on him during his force-feeding.

Because of the poor living conditions and extreme hard labour, it is not uncommon for detainees to die at the centre. When I first went in here, I was told that two people had died of illnesses consecutively. The Cell Head said that it is very common for people to die in there. Their lives are worth less than a pig's. Families are only paid 600 Yuan as compensation. Detainees consider the centre to be a "Hell-on-Earth."

October 11, 2001, four practitioners from Fengrun County Tangshan City including Liu Baozhi, Zhao Liping and Wang Xianling, were kidnapped by police while distributing truth-clarifying materials. They are now illegally detained in Fengrun County Detention Center. Starting from the first day of being detained, the four female practitioners have been on a hunger and water strike for 14 days. One practitioner is over 70 years old and her life is in critical condition. Insiders say the vicious policemen plan to force-feed them.

They put heavy handcuffs and shackles on her, with her hands and feet locked together so that she was unable to sit, stand, or lie down. Also, her 3,000 Yuan RMB in cash (equivalent to 6 months of income for an average Chinese worker), cell phone, and pager were all seized. Then she was sent to No. 2 Division of the Changchun City Police Department where she endured brutal beatings.

Yang and Zhao met, got to know each other, and fell in love with each other through cultivating Falun Dafa. Since they were persecuted, they were forced to be separated, yet they still helped and encouraged each other when facing the tremendous hardships. After their release, they were again united. Although the persecution is still continuing, they always have active and optimistic minds. They even began preparing for their wedding.

No one knows whether this practitioner is dead or alive. All righteous people inside or outside the country: please pay close attention to this case and extend your support. Also, all alumni of Tsinghua University, no mater where you are, please speak out for justice and appeal so that your kind school-mates can be freed as soon as possible.

After July 1999, the vicious partnership of Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan fabricated false charges against Falun Gong, brazenly cheating people and inhumanly persecuting practitioners across the county. Since then, the whole county has been in a state of terror. More notably, the persecution has caused death to hundreds and homelessness for thousands.

On May 23, 2001, policemen working with the Administration Section of the labor camp brutally tortured female practitioners Jing Nihong, Wang Yuhong, Song Feiqing and Fan Xirong, beating them, making them sit on iron chairs, shocking them with electric batons and cuffing them for long periods of time. Jing Nihong was cuffed for about 20 days. Wang Yuhong has not been released from the rigorous control as of this writing.

Even though her personal safety was in danger, her first thought was her patients' situation.

Around nine o'clock that morning, the policemen handcuffed her and hung her body up with both feet off the ground. In addition, they put a heavy weight on her neck to make it even more painful. By shear will, however, she endured without revealing a single name or telling them anything that might harm fellow practitioners.

They were allowed to torture practitioners, including sexually abusing and even raping female practitioners. If they still could not accomplish their goal, they were even allowed to kill the practitioners. When that happened, they could either impose an information blockade or claim that the practitioners had died from diseases or committed suicide. Their ploys were the epitome of evil.

The non-practitioner inmates no longer regard themselves as prisoners under rehabilitation. Instead, they now work in conjunction with the guards, following their directions to beat and harass Falun Gong practitioners. The inmates are often even more brutal than the fiercest guards.
I heard that a policewoman shouted out to the sky one day when she took practitioners out to work, "Why hold these good people here?!"

One of the policemen was Geng Renqing. The policemen slapped both sides of my face, dragged me by my hair and slammed my head against the wall. Because I still would not tell them anything, they handcuffed me and shocked me with electric batons, inserted lighted cigarettes into my nostrils, and forced me to smoke the cigarettes. They kept on torturing me until I had little breath left.

In this terrible environment, Li Meili developed scabies all over her body (as did other practitioners), to the point where she couldn't even open her eyes. She fell unconscious a couple of times and her whole body became covered with ulcers that seeped pus. There was not a single place on her body that was intact, and even the slightest movement led to excruciating pain.

During another interrogation, one interrogator said, "If you still refuse to confess, we'll push you out of the window and you'll die from the fall. Your death will be recorded as suicide or declared to be from a sudden illness. Your body will be sent for immediate cremation. It has already happened that practitioners were sent for cremation directly from here."

The labour camp medical department chief Shi used a pair of pliers to open my mouth to the maximum, which in the end loosened my teeth and caused severe bleeding. They repetitively inserted very thick tubes into our throats, which were used in hospitals for cleaning and pumping out the stomach. They moved the tubes back and forth for a long time in order to cause us the maximum amount of pain. The noises from the practitioners who were vomiting and painfully sobbing were really awful.

At the same time that they detained me, they did not stop looking for my husband. However, they did not find him, even after they went to Beijing to search. They were so furious that they started to persecute my son. On the night of June 2, they took my son away and detained him illegally for 21 days. When my relatives went to ask for his release, the head of the police department and the secretary of the Politics and Judiciary Committee shouted with their hands striking the table, "If we cannot find the father, we will arrest his son, and we won't release the son until we catch his father!"

He shocked me twice with an electric baton. He hit my shoulder(s) with his fists, yanked my hair and forced me to kneel. I was also forced to squat for about two hours. Yang said, "If I throw you out of the third storey, are you still going to practice? I'll fine you 5,000 Yuan [about US$625]. If you don't have the money, I'll tear down your house." I was aching all over from the beatings and couldn't sleep for over ten days. I also suffered great psychological stress.

The different victims of the persecution. No section of society has escaped the persecution. This includes babies,women,the disabled and the elderly.

Case of Retired Air Force Lieutenant General Sentenced to 17 years Imprisonment

On the way to appeal, the Beijing policemen interrogated me. They took away my appeal letter and all of my money, and tried to force me to slander Dafa and Teacher. If you did not obey them, they would beat you up. After I was illegally detained for a couple of days, my work unit brought me back home. The public security office then asked for 3,000 Yuan as a penalty, and my work unit later laid me off.
