| Letter from the Swedish Falun Dafa Association to the Authorities in Burma [09.02.2003] |
"Mr. Chan did not harm anyone, he did not threaten anyone, and he did not cause damage to anything around him. Even though he is an old man, compassion gave him the strength to care for people who are suffering in China. In Europe we would have applauded and respected him. Why is he sentenced to prison for 7 years?" |
| UK: Letter from Falun Gong Association to Prime Minister of Burma [02.02.2003] |
"The arrest and incarceration of Mr Chan is a violation of the human rights of Mr Chan and internationally recognised norms of legal practice...We urge you to pay immediate attention to the imprisonment of Mr Chan and do everything possible to ensure immediate restoration of his freedom." |
| New Year Greetings from Nordic Falun Dafa Association to Master and all fellow practitioners [01.02.2003] |

| Letter from the Swiss Falun Gong Association to the Burma Consulate in Geneva [01.02.2003] |
"We, who are citizens of Switzerland with its long tradition of human rights, find situations of this kind quite incomprehensible and totally unacceptable...How is it possible that in your country, which is currently making efforts to return to the international stage, displaying the words Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance can put an elderly man in prison for seven years? It is quite simply absurd and truly scandalous." |
| Letter from the Irish Falun Dafa Association to the Ireland Minister for Foreign Affairs [01.02.2003] |
"According to the media the Foreign Affairs Minister of Myanmar has been issued a special visa (despite sanctions) to travel to Belgium for the ASEAN-EU joint meeting. Can the Minister for Foreign Affairs use this opportunity to question Myanmar's Foreign Minister Win Aung on the case of Chan Wing-yuen?" |

| Letter from Irish Falun Dafa Association to the Burma Minister of Foreign Affairs [30.01.2003] |
"We believe that it was under the pressure from Jiang Zemin that Mr. Chan Wing-yuen was imprisoned by the Myanmar police, which really represents a case of injustice to human rights and does harm to the international image of Myanmar. You might not be aware that Jiang Zemin is creating human rights atrocities and has been charged in an American court with Genocide. This is not the first time the Jiang regime has tried to influence foreign states to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners." |

'We urge the HK government to preserve Hong Kong's autonomy in determining the legal status of Falun Gong and other groups in Hong Kong, to ensure that the rights and freedoms of the Hong Kong people are upheld, and to comply with widespread calls for a white bill for public consultation.' |
| German Falun Dafa Association Writes to Hong Kong Chief Executive Regarding Article 23 [23.12.2002] |
'We are concerned that this enactment of article 23 will bring Hong Kong closer and closer to one country, one system, a totalitarian system. This will ruin the confidence of the world towards Hong Kong and will not promote and safeguard a positive development of Hong Kong.' |

'Be aware that what you choose will have a big impact in many people's lives, as well as your own lives. Be also sure that you will have support from all over the world if you stand up for human rights and freedom in Hong Kong.' |

| Falun Gong Association (UK) Writes to Japanese Prime Minister [01.10.2002] |
I understand that you will be visiting China soon and would like to take this opportunity to respectfully request your help in securing the release of Falun Gong practitioner Mrs. Yoko Kaneko, who has been incarcerated in a labour re-education camp in China for exercising her basic rights of freedom of speech and belief. |
| Swedish Falun Dafa Association Writes to the Japanese Prime Minister [01.10.2002] |
In May 24 2002, the Beijing police arrested Yoko, together with two other Japanese Falun Gong practitioners, when they were distributing leaflets appealing for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong...Their actions were actually noble and harmless to everybody. Out of compassion, they left the comfort of their homes attempting to help the thousands of innocent men, women and children who are unjustly persecuted in China. |

| European Falun Dafa Association urges Japanese Prime Minister to Secure Release of Mrs. Yoko Kaneko from Chinese Labour Camp [28.09.2002] |

| UK: Letter to Members of the Ukrainian Government from the Falun Gong Association [09.09.2002] |
On behalf of the Falun Gong Association of the United Kingdom I am writing to respectfully request your assistance in serious matters of utmost importance for the future of the people of Ukraine. I call on you to use the executive powers bestowed on you by the virtue your ministry to stop what appears to be a two-year history of persecution of the practitioners of Falun Dafa in Ukraine. |
| Letter to the Prime Minister of Ukraine from Irish Falun Dafa Association [04.09.2002] |
"Those who know the truth of the persecution are routinely shocked by the lengths the Chinese government go to torture its own people and we are saddened when those who fail to investigate the practice for themselves echo the actions of the Chinese Government. Do not tarnish your countries international reputation but instead join the righteous voices that are condemning this illegal persecution." |
| Letter from Austrian Falun Dafa Association to Japanese Foreign Minister [04.09.2002] |
"We are writing on behalf of all Falun Gong practitioners in Austria and respectfully ask you to urge the Chinese authorities to release Falun Gong practitioner Mrs. Yoko Kaneko in your visit in China." |
| Letter from Swiss Association of Falun Gong to the Ukraine Prime Minister [02.09.2002] |
"The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will be subjected to pressure from the Chinese Embassy, to compel your Government to take a tougher stand on Falun Gong. We applaud the fact that justice in Ukraine is impartial. We hope it will be the same in the political field and that this young democracy will remain always upright, even when confronted with a giant like China." |

| Letter to the Prime Minister of Ukraine from the European Falun Dafa Association [29.08.2002] |
"It is appalling that Jiang Zemin can dictate the actions of an independent state like Ukraine and that Ukrainian authorities would be subject to decrees from as far away as Beijing. Through a series of recent events, we are witnessing a systematic expansion of Jiangs persecution of Falun Gong in Europe..If Ukraine wishes to aspire to the best European standards, then upholding the freedom of belief and association will be one of the basic building blocks." |
| UK: Letter to the Ukraine Ambassador from the Falun Gong Association (UK) [29.08.2002] |
"This detention, that reminds us of the practices of the red terror to which citizens of your own country were subjected not that long ago that are still in our memory, should never have occurred, and could not and would not have occurred in any democracy around the world. The facts of this case are clear: the Ukrainian police were acting under pressure from Jiang's regime." |
| Letter from Belgian Falun Gong Association to United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees [27.08.2002] |
"Mr. High Commissioner, we appeal to you to urge Cambodia to assure the safety and other basic rights of these two people and others who practice their belief in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance and face the danger there. We appeal to you to condemn the Chinese governments wrongdoing and ask the Chinese government to release Mr. Li and his wife who are now detained in China." |
| Letter to Mary Robinson from the Belgian Falun Gong Association [27.08.2002] |
"We know from the UN news that you are now in the trip to China and Cambodia. Your enormous effort on improving human right in China is highly appreciated...We believe these recent developments are serious enough to catch the attention of the United Nations and all democratic countries because many of these are beyond the Chinese border and affect citizens of western democracies." |
| Letter From Nordic Falun Dafa Association To The Hong Kong Media [20.08.2002] |
As a citizen of the world, we appeal to you to express your concerns about the unprecedented so-called trial of peaceful Falun Gong practitioners, presently proceeding in Hong Kong. Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. They insist on appealing with dignity for a stop to the persecution in a peaceful manner. The trial now proceeding has in fact been a sham from the beginning. |

| Letter from the European Falun Dafa Association to the Hong Kong Authorities [17.08.2002] |
"The 16 Falun Gong practitioners did nothing wrong. The only thing they obstructed was Jiang Zemin's killing order. They are heroes because they used peaceful means to appeal for justice for millions of good Chinese citizens persecuted in China. Any statement about this appeal that falls short of acknowledging its righteousness and selflessness is unjust. We hope that you will recognise this mistake and mitigate the enormous loss Hong Kong has already incurred. For the sake of the future of Hong Kong and its people, we urge you to respect the will of its people and reverse this verdict." |
| UK: Letter from the Falun Gong Association (UK) to Hong Kong CSA [17.08.2002] |
"The Magistrate's verdict in the trial of the 16 Falun Gong practitioners underscores his failure to find the inner strength and courage to follow the rule of law in the face of undue pressure and influence from Beijing. As an important member of the Hong Kong government you may wish to consider the international impact of the trial on the long-term development of Hong Kong. We hope that you will reverse the verdict as soon as possible and return Hong Kong to the rule of law." |
| Letter from the European Falun Dafa Association to the Prime Minister of Cambodia [15.08.2002] |

"For us the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" are the most important guidance for all of our actions. |
| Statement from the Falun Gong Association (UK) [22.10.2001] |
The millions strong in China who practise Falun Gong have met evil. And despite two years of violent, brutal suppression, these people have not bowed before the oppressor. They have answered brutality with compassion, irrational fanaticism with calm reason, lies and deceit with honesty and plain dealing. In their heroic endurance and fidelity to Falun Gongs principles of truth, compassion, and tolerance, they have demonstrated to the world how Falun Gong has made them persons of profound moral strength. They have resisted the largest totalitarian government in the world, and done so on their own, no less. Now these brave persons need our help.
