  • The Book Falun Gong is Officially Published in Bulgarian

    The book Falun Gong was officially published in the Bulgarian language and distributed in Bulgaria today. It was also sold to the public at a book exhibition held in the capital city of Sofia. Since the Jiang regime in China initiated a crackdown on Falun Gong in July 1999, the interest in Falun Gong from people all over the world has grown. Not only are there people in over sixty countries practising Falun Gong but the numbers practising in each country have also increased.
  • A New Swedish Version of the Book Falun Gong Will Soon Be Published

    A new Swedish version of the Book Falun Gong will soon be published by B4 Press. This is the third version of the Book in Swedish. The five thousand or so copies of the previous two versions sold out and could not meet the demand. At the moment, many people are waiting for the publication of the new version of the book. To facilitate Swedish understanding of Falun Gong, practitioners used their own spare time to do the translation and proofreading carefully.
  • UK: Falun Gong Practitioners Filed a Lawsuit Against Bo Xilai

    After a lawsuit filed by American Falun Gong practitioners against Bo Xilai for the crime of genocide, torture and crimes against humanity, UK Falun Gong practitioners also entrusted an attorney recently to file a lawsuit against Bo Xilai for crimes of torture against fellow Falun Gong practitioners in China. The Metropolitan Police at New Scotland Yard accepted the formal allegation made against Bo Xilai for serious crimes and a request for his arrest upon arrival in the UK by issuing a Crime Number.
  • UK: Falun Gong Practitioners Take Legal Action Against Bo Xilai

    UK Falun Gong practitioners entrusted an attorney recently to file a lawsuit against Bo Xilai for the crimes of Torture against Falun Gong practitioners in China. Although the case was rejected on the grounds of diplomatic immunity, the significance of filing this legal complaint should not be overlooked. It is an opportunity for the relevant UK authorities and legal structures to become more familiar with the nature of the persecution of Falun Gong, and to raise the profile of a correct interpretation of diplomatic immunity. Regardless of the immediate outcome, all this serves to lay the foundation for future legal actions against those who persecute Falun Gong.
  • Belgium: Dafa Practitioners Release a Statement regarding Wen Jiabao's Visit

    "We hope that the Belgian Prime Minister will make use of this opportunity to express clearly to Mr. Wen Jiabao and the Chinese people, the great concern of the Belgian government and its people towards the persecution of Falun Gong in China. We hope Premier Wen Jiabao will treat bringing an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and the trial of the culprits in this persecution as the top mission in the Chinese Government's agenda."
  • Germany's Federal Department of Domestic Affairs Acknowledges Violation of Dafa Practitioners' Basic Rights During Jiang's Official Visit

    At noon on April 26, 2004, a spokesman for the German Federal Department of Domestic Affairs (GFDDA) officially admitted that the restrictive measures they took against Falun Gong practitioners who stayed at Adlon Hotel in Berlin when former Chinese president Jiang Zemin visited Germany in April 2002 were against German laws. The German Falun Dafa Association embraced the response.
  • Lawsuit against Germany's Federal Department of Domestic Affairs for Violating Practitioners' Basic Rights Is Favourably Resolved

    At noon on April 26, 2004, a Berlin Administrative Court judge, representatives of the German Federal Department of Domestic Affairs and German Falun Dafa Association representatives officially reached an agreement after discussion, so that the German Falun Dafa Association's lawsuit against the Federal Department of Domestic Affairs for violating the practitioners' rights could be resolved.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Welcome Wen Jiabao to Europe

    From May 1, Wen Jiabao will visit five European countries and his first stop will be Germany. A couple of weeks ago, Falun Gong practitioners in Berlin began taking the initiative to contact the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and police stations in various districts of Berlin to make Falun Gong practitioners’ position clear.

    Since its publication in 1995, Zhuan Falun has since been translated into more than twenty European languages, with several other translations forthcoming.
  • Assistant Director of Chinese Anti-Cult Association (CACA) Wang Yusheng Is Sued in Switzerland

    On the afternoon of April the 16th 2004, the Transnational Radical Party, a permanent international non-governmental organization in the Geneva United Nations Office, held a special meeting on the subject of Genocide. During the meeting, a Swiss attorney representative Ms. Boone announced a lawsuit against the Assistant Director of the Chinese Anti-Cult Association, Wang Yusheng. This was the second lawsuit prepared by Swiss Falun Gong practitioners against a Chinese government official. The first one was initiated in 2003 against the former Chinese President Jiang.
  • Practitioners Send Their Greetings and Thanks to Master Li, Exactly Nine Years after He Taught Falun Gong in Sweden

    On the 11th of April 2004, people gathered as usual to practise the Falun Gong exercises at Bagaregårdens Hill in Gothenburg. However, this Sunday was special because it marked nine years since Falun Gong's founder, Master Li Hongzhi, personally held a seven-day seminar at Nordengården in Gothenburg to teach Falun Gong to over two hundred attendees.
  • Slovak Falun Gong Association is Founded and Formally Registered

    The Slovak Falun Gong Association was founded and officially registered on February the 23rd 2004. The goal of this association is to help more Slovakian people learn about Falun Gong. In order to achieve this goal, the association will update the public with important news about Falun Gong, organize workshops and arrange meetings where practitioners can share their experiences and benefits from practising Falun Gong.
  • France: Falun Gong Practitioners Announce that they will File a Complaint Regarding the “Arbitrary Arrest and Illegal Violence” in Paris

    Recently, China utilized economic interests to induce members of the French government to bribe the French police to unreasonably arrest and violently treat peaceful Falun Dafa practitioners. This behaviour violated Falun Gong practitioners’ legal rights and, in reality, it conspired to reinforce the Jiang’s regime’s inhuman persecution of Falun Gong.
  • China Culture Minister Sued in France for "Incitement of Massacre and Persecution"

    On January the 28th 2004, Four Falun Gong practitioners entrusted a senior French lawyer, Ms. Hauser-Phelizizon, with the filing of a lawsuit at the Paris prosecutor's office against the Chinese Minister of Culture, Sun Jiazheng, for "incitement of massacre and persecution." He is currently visiting France.
