  • Ireland: New Evidence Exposes the Chinese Communist Party’s Organ Harvesting

    Invited by the Human Rights Committee of the Irish Parliament, David Matas visited Ireland. Mr. Matas is an international human rights lawyer who co-wrote a report into organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China. During his visit Mr Matas took part in news briefings, met VIPs and spoke at Trinity College.

But not only that. In China people are sent to prison for many years without trial because of their beliefs.   • France: David Kilgour Raises Awareness about China’s Worsening Human Rights Situation at a Press Conference

    On January 11th, a seminar was held at the French Senate entitled “What Is Peace? How to Achieve Peace?” David Kilgour, former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia Pacific, delivered a speech at the seminar. He talked about many of China’s current human rights problems, stating that China’s human rights situation was deteriorating.
  • Czech Republic: Independent Canadian Investigator Presents His Report About Organ Harvesting in Parliament

    “They take both of your kidneys, heart and skin, corneas and liver and then they throw your body in the incinerator.² Those are words of David Kilgour, the former member of the Canadian government, who with his colleague David Matas compiled report on illegal organ seizures from prisoners of conscience in China, namely from the practitioners of Falun Gong meditation discipline. On November 16th, David Kilgour reported his findings in the Czech Parliament.

    On November 22nd, 2006, Italy's Ansa News Agency reported that Mr Della Vedova, Italian MEP, invited Canada's former Secretary of State (Asia Pacific) and Member of Parliament David Kilgour to give a presentation in the press room of the Italian Parliament. Kilgour discussed the report he drafted with human rights lawyer David Matas after their independent investigation into allegations that the Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

  • Spain: Mainstream Media Focus on Organ Harvesting

    On November 30th, David Kilgour, coauthor of the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China, visited Spain. The report has attracted widespread attention from Spanish media. Mr Kilgour held a press conference in Madrid, and nearly twenty media outlets including all the prominent Spanish media attended.
  • Slovakia: David Kilgour Informs MPs from the Slovak Parliament about Organ Harvesting in China

    David Kilgour, former Canadian State Secretary (Asia Pacific), visited Slovakia in order to publicise his investigation into organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese prisons. In the morning he met with the leadership of the Committee for human rights, other minorities and the women of the Slovak parliament. The subsequent press conference for the Slovak media was attended by both Slovak press agencies and national TV.
  • Statement by European Friends of Falun Gong on Kidnapping of Attorney Gao Zhisheng

    We are here today to express our deep concern at the arrest of the Chinese human rights lawyer Mr Gao Zhisheng by the Chinese authorities on August 15th. We strongly urge China to release him immediately and to allow him to continue his career as a human rights lawyer. Gao Zhisheng was kidnapped by plainclothes policemen while visiting his critically ill brother-in-law at his sister’s home in Shandong province when twelve policemen burst into the home and took him away without any explanation and without providing any legal documentation to support their actions.

    Former Canadian Secretary of State for the Asia-Pacific region Mr. David Kilgour held a press conference in Brussels. The press conference was regarding the Chinese Communist regime's barbaric practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in China. He was joined by Vice-President of the European Parliament Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott and Belgium human rights lawyer Mr. George-Henry Beauthier.
  • United Kingdom: Seminar in Houses of Parliament Discusses CCP’s Organ Harvesting Crimes

    On Monday 18th July, a seminar was held in the Houses of Parliament in London to talk about the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The seminar was chaired by Lord Thurlow and one of the main speakers was David Kilgour, a former Canadian Secretary of State who recently published a report confirming that the Chinese Communist Party has been harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners.
  • United Kingdom: Press Conference and Parade Mark Seven Years of Persecution

    On Saturday 15th July, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference and parade in central London to let people know that Falun Gong has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for seven years. After the press conference, the practitioners paraded through central London. The beautiful sunshine meant that the streets were crowded.
  • Switzerland: Press Conference in Geneva to Condemn the Atrocities Committed by the CCP

    Vice President of the European Parliament, Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott, sent the conference a report about his investigation of the persecution of Falun Gong in Beijing. The host of the conference, the secretary of International Multiple Belief Organisation, Dr. Charles, said that what they need to do during this conference was to discuss the CCP's trade in organs harvested from Falun Gong practitioners, as well as whether the CCP has been lying about this issue and trying to cover up the truth.
  • Sweden: Exposing CCP Tyranny during a Seminar on China's Human Rights

    In March 2003, I was illegally kidnapped by the Changchun City Police along with my colleagues Chen Jing and Wang Wei. The police forcibly tied us to specially-made steel chairs and forced us to answer questions. Chen Jing and Wang Wei were slapped by the police, and after having plastic bags put over their heads they were beaten by rods, whipped by belts and suffered other tortures like twisting the wrists.
