UK: Telling people the facts and promoting the Fa in the famous City of Bath

On August 16th, the sun shone brightly and the weather was fine. Practitioners from London, Birmingham, Oxford, Leicester, Nottingham, Cardiff, gathered in the King’s Parade in Bath to demonstrate the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, to display the information about Dafa, teach the Falun Gong exercises, collect signatures, and distribute various kinds of truth clarifying materials to passersby. -

People there were happy to talk with us. They were delighted to receive the flyers and listen to the truth about the on-going persecution in China. Many people signed their names in the signature book to support the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, who is the main instigator of the persecution. Some said: “Those who are responsible for this persecution must be brought to justice." -
Sweden: Telling People the Facts during the Gothenburg Festival

Passers-by expressed their sympathy with the persecution that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in China. They showed great interest in the lawsuits filed in many countries against the former Chinese President, Jiang Zemin, who is the prime culprit of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Many of them indicated their support for the legal actions taken by Dafa practitioners. -
Sweden: Telling people the Facts at the Malmo Food Festival
2003-08-22After we displayed banners, pictures of persecuted practitioners in China and information about the International Lawsuit against Jiang, people immediately came to sign our petition. We gave them materials and they were happy to receive them. When Chinese tourists saw our exercise demonstration, they accepted our newspapers and materials without worry. -
Germany: First Public Performance of the Play “Suing Jiang” in German

A blue banner, with a German translation of “Suing Jiang Zemin for Genocide”, formed a stage curtain. Jiang was being charged with instigating the persecution against Falun Gong, which has now been going on for four years. Chinese practitioners acted as witnesses, giving evidence and recounting their horrendous memories from time spent in China’s labour camps. -
Germany: Letting People Know the Truth at an Information Day in Limburg City

At the very beginning, there were three young Chinese people standing at a distance from us and looking at us with suspicion. After talking to practitioners for half an hour, they came to our table to learn about the persecution of Falun Gong in China in detail. They told us that we should broadcast the truth about the persecution on TV. -
UK: A “Thank You” Letter to Practitioners from the Organisers of the Edinburgh Festival

For the second year in a row, Falun Gong practitioners won first prize in the opening parade of Edinburgh’s world famous international festival. Pictures of practitioners also appeared on the front page of several Scottish newspapers. Recently, festival organisers wrote a letter to Falun Gong practitioners to express their gratitude and to ask them to pick up the first prize trophy. -
Finland: SOS Tour Attracts Media Attention in Every City

During this SOS Tour, practitioners had some great opportunities to tell people about the legal process to bring Jiang to justice. In some of the cities they visited, people had never seen Falun Dafa before and were supportive. In every city, a journalist from the local newspaper came to report on the activity and practitioners appeared on the front page of the following day’s paper. -
Sweden: Celebrating Five Years of Falun Dafa in Kalmar City

Five years ago, we did not even have a video tape to learn the exercises from. We had the book Falun Gong, with pictures of the exercises. We put a key on top of the page so that it was not turned over by the wind and then we practised the exercises, comparing our movements to the pictures. We tried to perfect our movements by pointing out each other’s mistakes. -
UK: Irish and UK Dafa Practitioners Work Together to Publicise the Family Rescue Campign in Northern Ireland

Over three days, the UK practitioner and some Irish practitioners went to three of the biggest cities in Ireland - the capital Dublin, Galway, and Limerick - and three important cities in Northern Ireland - the capital Belfast, Lisburn, and Newtown. We gave petition letters and details of the family rescue cases to local councillors and the media. -
UK: People Can Feel the Goodness of Falun Dafa During Activities in Solihull City Centre

Amazed at how peaceful the exercises looked, many people took information about free classes around the UK and learned more about the brutal persecution that has now been happening in China for over four years. Many people I spoke to were astonished that such a peaceful practice could be so viciously persecuted. -
UK: Touching People’s Hearts at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

A Western man and a Hong Kong lady had heard some of Jiang’s propaganda about Falun Gong. A Chinese practitioner talked with them and showed them photos of persecuted practitioners. They said they had suspected that the propaganda was lies and now it was confirmed. They left after wishing the practitioner good luck. -
Sweden: Falun Dafa Catches People's Attention at the Middle Ages Festival in Gotland

No matter whether practitioners practised exercises in the park or demonstrated them by the roadside, they caught the attention of passers-by, who came over to ask for flyers. Practitioners grasped every opportunity to let people know more about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution that is happening in China. -
Sweden: Celebrating the Fifth Anniversary of Dafa’s Introduction to Kalmar City

August 9th 2003 was exactly five years since Kalmar City’s first Falun Gong practitioner began to practise. After August 9th 1998, people in the city have seen Falun Gong practitioners performing the exercises and promoting Dafa in the beautiful and peaceful Castle Park every Saturday morning. During the past five years, practitioners in Kalmar City have become more and more mature and steadfast in their cultivation. -
UK: Bringing the Peace and Harmony of Dafa to a West Midlands City
2003-08-11This lovely old lady began to pay more attention to the practitioners, slowly adjusting her mind to the new phenomenon in front of her, asking a few simple questions, and marvelling at the way they performed the exercises so harmoniously and elegantly together. It was clear that the serene energy field and the conduct of practitioners had left her with a warm impression of Dafa, and that she understood the kind of people we were.
